Two Worlds Collide

Chapter Three

"So.......What did she say?" I asked him. 

"Hiya. I'm good. Surprised. But good. You?" 

I nodded. 

"What should I say back?" he looked at me. 

"Gee, I don't know. She asked you how you were, tell her there's a unicorn outside your door." I rolled my eyes at him. "Tell her how you are, dummy!" 

"Oh. Right. I can do that." he began typing on this phone and I shook my head at him. 

Okay, so maybe this would be a little more difficult than I thought...

"I can't believe you're helping him with this..." Zach spoke up. 

I looked at him and shrugged.  "He had already texted her, I couldn't NOT help. And he pulled the puppy-dog eyes at me." 

Zach chuckled and nodded. "I see. Puppy-dog eyes? What's that...?" 

I giggled. "You know what it is. You just don't know the name. It looks like this." 

I got close to his face and stuck my bottom lip out slightly, widened my eyes pleadingly and did my best to look desperate. 

His eyes widened and mouth dropped open slightly. "Stop, stop, stop! You're killing me here." 

I giggled and pulled away. "See? You can't say no to that face." 

He nodded. "You had me ready to do whatever you said..." 

I raised an eyebrow. "Really now? Even stand on your head and spit nickles?" 

Zach chuckled. "Even that. Although I'm not sure how I would go about doing that....I sure would try." 

I giggled. "Sounds like I had you wrapped around my finger for a minute." 

He smirked. "Maybe." 

"Or longer." He added quietly. 

I looked at him questioningly, but Cameron screamed again and I nearly had a heart attack. 

"What NOW?!" I yelled, frustrated. 

"SHE SAID SHE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE ME!" Cameron bounced up and down like a bunny. 

I facepalmed. "Well, duh." 

He looked at me. "What does THAT mean?" 

I rolled my eyes. "You don't get it do you...?" 

"Get what?" he asked. 

I sighed.  "Well..."
