Cameron threw me over his shoulder again and started walking somewhere.

"Is this going to become a habit, or.....?"

I felt him shrug. "We'll see."

"We couldn't discuss this in there?"

"NO! Mikey was already teasing me. The last thing I need is for him to witness my unfortunate texting disabilities."

I rolled my eyes. "Okay....So what do you need help with?"

"Well, I need a plan for when I see her next week."

"I have a solution for that. You just need to put me down."

He sighed and put me down, then looked at me expectantly. "Sooo....?"

"First, I have a question. What have you said to her so far?"

He showed me the texts, which weren't much, and I nodded.

"Okay, what you're gonna do now is what I like to call small talk."

His eyes showed slight panic.

"Calm down, calm down. I'll help you do that."

He nodded. "Okay. Then, let's do it."

We began going over what to say and pretty soon him and Kellie were having a nice conversation.

He almost didn't need me, until, of course, he screamed. Signaling something was either really good, or really bad.

"WHAT CAMERON WHAT!?!?"

"I CANNOT BELIEVE I JUST DID THAT!" He ignored me and continued having his fit.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!?!"

"I...I...I..." he stuttered.

"CAMERON, USE YOUR WORDS!" I shouted.

"I THINK I JUST INVITED HER TO HANG OUT ON THE BUS WITH ME."

My eyes widened. "What?! What did she say?"

"She said she'd love to......"

I patted his back. "Well, buddy. I think you got yourself a date."
