I woke up in a panic because I had a dream that Cain kidnapped me and had me in a basement beating me so heavily, he told me that I belonged to him and nobody else. I took a deep breath and tried to get up but something had a hold on me. I turned around only to see a light skin person with their face covered under the blanket and arms wrapped around my waist. I slowly eased the blanket down only to find that it was Chris. I breathed a sigh of relief and tried to pry his hands from around me to go to the bathroom.
I still can't believe that he's here with me and that he has real feelings for me but I can't return them back unless I can get away from Cain. I'll always feel bad if we started something and I can't even tell him the truth about why I can't be in his life. He'll hate me forever and I don't want that for him, he deserves someone better than me. I wouldn't mind waking up to him every morning, he seems so peaceful sleeping. Get it together Olivia you can't fall for him you're married. Yeah but I never felt so safe in my life, he cares for me and we only met 3 days ago. Cain can't even look at me or be with me unless he feels like he has to be.
I shook my head and slowly got up trying not to wake Chris to go to the bathroom when I felt my arm being grabbed.
"Where you going beautiful?"-Chris
"To the bathroom"-Olivia
"Okay, good morning by the way"-He said rubbing his eyes
"Good morning"-I said covering my mouth
"Girl you trying to hide your stank breath, I already smelled it when you snored in my ear"-He said laughing
"Shut up"-I said getting up
"I'm sorry you're still beautiful even though you got stank breath"-He said laughing
I walked into the bathroom and closed the door then grabbed my phone that I had hiding in my cabinet. I turned it on and checked to see if I had anything from Cain but to my surprise nothing came through as usual. I should've known that he wouldn't contact me, false hope I guess. There was an incoming call from Cain coming through so I slid out on the balcony through the bathroom and silent all the noise around me with my earphones then answered.
"Hello Cain"-I answered fake happy
"Hello Liv, my dear how has it been going since I left?"-Cain
"It's okay, how's the trip?"-Olivia
"Very eventful and productive. Do you miss me?"-Cain
"Great, it's only been two days you didn't give me time to miss you"-Olivia
"Hmm I do miss your cooking, this food here is bland"-Cain
"I'll cook for you once your home my love"-I said rolling my eyes
"I'll look forward to that, I need you to check on something for me at the company if it's not too early for you"-Cain
"Sure I'll be on my way once I get dressed"-Olivia
"Of course, thank---
"Hey Cain you ready we---
"I'll call you later Liv let me know when you handle that situation"-Cain said hanging up before I could say anything
Wow who the hell was that? That voice sounds too familiar, here I was feeling guilty for hiding stuff from Chris when he's on a trip with some woman. I looked at my phone and sighed then walked back into the bathroom after closing the balcony door. I put my phone in my drawer and brushed my teeth then washed my face. I looked in the mirror at myself then heard Chris knocking on the door. I cut the water off and opened the door.
