The doctors said that I'd be okay and there was nothing seriously damaged, they'd done surgery to fix the minor internal bleeding from my spleen and cleaned and stitched my wounds. At that point it was around three or four in the morning and I was ready to run out of the hospital, well wheel, considering the wheelchair that was my new friend for atleast a month. Wes had refused to leave my side until my dad got there, and even when dad had arrived he seemed reluctant, until his mom, Judy Hicks pulled him out after hugging dad and I.

Wes and Mindy had gone and checked on Tara and let me know how she was doing, I was waiting for Judy Hicks to come in and take my statement of the attack, dad sat by my side and held my hand, hesitating over calling mom. He didn't want her to worry, or to come down here, and neither did I, I survived and so did Tara.

I had barely spoken to my mother since we left almost six years ago, we packed in the middle of the night and drove the forty seven hours from New York to Woodsboro', California. We didn't have the best relationship anymore, and we hadn't, not since I was a kid.

"I'm gonna call Sid, you call your mom." Dewey sighed as he stepped out of the room, closing the door. A small nod of my head as I shook slightly and pressed the call button over my mothers contact and sighed.

"Lexi? I just heard what happened in Woodsboro'." Gale questioned, obviously breathing heavily, it took me a few moments to gain some composure.

"Mom- I-I was attacked last night." My voice wavered as I heard her take a deep breathe and sigh out a shaky laugh.

"I knew your stupid father never should've fucking taken you back there, but no, he knew better. Are you okay Ali? I love you so much, stay strong and trust your fucking guts. Your dad, Sid and I have prepared you for this your whole life, you know the rules, don't trust anyone you've recently met, especially the love interest. etcetera." Gale instructed grabbing her bag, Icould hear her rustling and sat up straight, pulling at my stitches.

"Mom, no. You are not coming back here, please stay safe." Gale sighed on the other side of the line but agreed, knowing her ex husband and daughter could handle theirselves.

Slowly I pulled myself up and swung my legs around, taking small deep breaths I lowered myself into the wheelchair, clutching my bag and texting Mindy, Wes and Kris that I was being discharged. My dad entered the room still talking to my godmother. "Hey sid." I smiled slightly as dad passed me the phone and pushed the wheelchair.

"Are you okay, kiddo? Promise me you will keep yourself and your father safe. He's been a victim of these morons enough. Do you need me to come down there?" She asked, her voice panicked and worried.

"No, no no! You stay away from here, keep Mark, the kids and yourself safe. Don't come back here, please." I sighed wiping my eyes, exhaustion clinging to my body. The phone hung up as we said our goodbyes. "Dad, can we just go and check in on T?" I asked as I told dad the way to her room, Wes having told me earlier that morning.

Five minutes later and we wheeled into her room, Tara opened her eyes groggily and a few tears rolled down her cheeks at the sight of me in a wheelchair. "Hey T." I sighed as I grabbed her hand and squeezed her hand tightly. "I'm okay, so why did we let an asshole go freddy kreuger on our asses?" I sarcastically asked, causing a small smile to form on our faces.

"I'm getting discharged now, don't think I can go back to the apartment, atleast tonight. Everytime I close my eyes I feel it inside me, and hear them. Did your one wear a fucking ghostface mask too?" Tara nodded as a response to my question.

"A, go home, get some rest, and please don't leave your apartment tomorrow, don't go to school, don't come here. Stay safe." Tara begged squeezing my hand as my dad wheeled me out the room, he carefully sat me in the passenger seat of the car and collapsed the wheelchair into the boot.

Within hours my alarm went off telling me it was time to wake up and get ready for school. I slowly pulled on a pair of my tracksuit shorts, a boob tube and a cropped hoodie as dad helped to put my sneakers on. My body had ached all night resulting in little to no sleep, but I had to go to school.

I plaited my hair slowly before doing basic makeup, grabbing my panda backpack and wheeling myself out of the apartment and into the lift

I plaited my hair slowly before doing basic makeup, grabbing my panda backpack and wheeling myself out of the apartment and into the lift. "You don't have to go, Lexi." My dad sighed as he pushed me towards the car as I slowly pulled myself into the car.

"I do, I need to see my friends." I smiled, tiredly closing my eyes and letting out a sigh of exhaustion.

Ten minutes later and my dad pulled up outside the school, I saw Kris, Wes and Mindy waiting for me as they waved to my dad. Kris helped me out of the car as Wes and Mindy sorted out my wheelchair and carefully lowered me into it. "Bye dad, love you! Please don't get stabbed." He smiled and nodded his head as he drove away.

Wes pulled his girlfriend in for a gentle, but loving kiss as her hand rested on his neck. "Hello, I get enough of this from my brother and his girlfriend, please don't make me endure it from you two as well." Mindy groaned as she pulled us apart and struggled to push my wheelchair to the benches where everyone sat.

"Hi humans, I live. And I saw T, she's okay and said to go see her later." I smiled as Chad hugged me, Liv squeezed my hand. Amber sighed as Kris held me close. "Alright, alright Krissy, I'm alive, so can we cut the cheesy hugs." Kristian blushed slightly as I leant my head on Wes' shoulder. "Has anyone called Tara's sister?" I asked out of the blue as the cogs whirred in my head.

Wes nodded and informed us that she was on her way down. "Yeah, I called earlier, going to meet us at the hospital in a few hours or so." He smiled as he ran his hands through my hair.

"Watch everything get worse." Amber sighed, looking at her nails with a bored expression on her face, which caused me to roll my eyes.

"T has us, and we are her family but her mom is stuck in London, so she needs her big sister. And who knows, maybe Sam will grow the fuck up this time." I sighed as I also slapped my boyfriends hands away from my hair because he was trying to mess it up. "It took ages looking this good with one good arm, so please don't make me strangle you." Wes feigned a look of hurt but instead kissed my cheek.

"Wes, your mom just questioned me about the attacks on T and A, that was fun." Chad sighed as he wrapped his arm around Liv's waist.

Minutes later and Amber pointed out bruises on Chad's legs and arms, trying to say that he had attacked the two girls that evening before. "He was with me the whole night, and we found A with Wes. And it's from soccer practice." Mindy defended her twin as Liv looked uncomfortable under the gaze of her summer fling who we used to work with.

"Is that Vince?" I asked, craning my neck around to see the creep staring at us and smirking at the both of us, who used to work with him.

"I'm gonna go and see T, who's coming with?" I asked bored of watching Amber and Chad's pissing match, Mindy, Kris and Wes stood to follow me as we climbed into Kris' truck as Chad and Amber got into the back.
