The next four days were painfully long, boring and similar, somebody stayed with me until I fell asleep or they got kicked out and I had nightmare after nightmare after nightmare. It had now been over a week since we got attacked, I almost died and we lost Quinn and Anika.

Tara, Kirby and Sam had come into my hospital room this morning to talk to me about a plan, to explain why they weren't going to be around for a few hours, but promised me that I would be safe and that there was a policeman on either end of the hall. "You'll be fine I promise." Kirby whispered as she stroked a tear off my cheek, in a sisterly way. "Mindy, Chad and I will have our phones on and if you need anything you call." I nodded as each woman hugged me before leaving.

"Just sleep Lexi." Tara muttered as she rested her forehead against mine, assuring both of us that we were safe. "Stay safe." She shut the door whilst I closed my eyes, music playing in the background.

It had been about three hours since Tara, Kirby and Sam had gone to the college campus. I felt scared and lonely, yes there were police on either side of the ward and outside my door, but that was exactly how Tara was attacked and my dad died six months ago.

The third harry potter film started on the tv so I paid my attention to that, rather than my unsteady thoughts. Outside, there were a few shouts and bangs, I tried to ignore it but then I saw the police officer come into my room, ghostface behind him. "Behind you!" I shouted as ghostface held the knife to the cops neck and cut through it.

The gasping breath sounds as he tried to breathe terrified me, he gestured to the door as I pulled myself onto my unsteady feet. "Hello Alexis." The scratchy voice muttered as they waved the knife in my face, I ducked and ran through the door.

There was blood everywhere, three dead bodies belonging to nurses, two dead security guards and two dead police officers. I was all alone in this.

My hands went to grab my phone but I remembered it was in my room. "shit." I cried out as I attempted to run. "You can't hide from me, Alexis. I will always be right behind you." I screamed out of fear as I heard rushed footsteps.

I tripped over something wet on the floor and fell, into a pool of blood of a police officer. Their gun was  strapped to their belt. With shaking hands, I unclicked the holster and took the gun. As I pulled myself up right, I had the familiar white hot sensation run through my shoulder. "Gotcha." It muttered as I gasped.

Without thinking I swung my leg up and caught the figure in the crotch, they doubled over dry heaving. Gun clasped tightly in my fists, I ran as fast as my body would let me.

I could hear my ringtone from my room but I couldn't risk going back. I was almost at the lift, I just had to get over the bridge. Hands clasped around my waist as I struggled. "Get the fuck off of me!" My voice cracked as the knife was plunged into my shoulder again. "Get off of me!" I tried again, scrabbling to get out of their grip but failing.

"Say hi to your dad for me." Tears formed in my eyes as the knife was plunged into my back, I choked on my screams as I fell to the floor, knife still inside of me. "Oh, and your boyfriend and your friends." A sob tore from my throat at the mention of all of the people I had let down. "Geez, people around you drop dead like flies don't they? You're such a curse." Hands wrapped around my neck as they rolled me onto my back. Everything went dark as something hard and heavy met my cheek.

My eyes fluttered open to be met with the gun hanging over my head, my blood on the side. A knife was shoved into my stomach twice as I screamed in agony once more.

Scream after scream left my mouth as they plunged the knife in and out of my thighs. "Get off of her!" I heard someone shout, I recognized that voice, my eyes were so heavy and I was in so much pain. Glass crunched under foot as a knife was plunged into my chest once again before they left. "Stay with me." The voice said again.

My eyes fluttered open and shut, I was met with two faces hanging over mine. "M-m" I stuttered, struggling to get the word out. "M-m," I tried again but failed. Tears mixed with the blood coating my face, my cheek stung.

"Ssh. It's okay. I got you." Mindy whispered, she had moved my head to rest in her lap and was playing with my hair. "Help is coming." The twins' faces had the same emotion plastered all over, fear. "We're right here." She told me as Chad squeezed my hand, wiping away a tear.

"I- don't" I started but coughed, a metallic taste coating my mouth, blood dribbled down my chin. "wa-wanna d-die." I stuttered as Mindy wiped away my tears and Chad shook his head.

"You're not dying." Chad laughed slightly as Mindy carressed my cheek. "Don't be silly." He told me as he squeezed my hand again. "You're going to be fine." Chad removed his hand from mine and placed it on the wounds on my chest, applying pressure.

I screamed in pain, tears mixing with the blood on my face. "Stop! Stop it, you're hurting her!" Mindy cried as I sobbed, my hands were scrabbling with Chad's to remove them, but he was stronger. "You're okay, baby. You're fine." Mindy whispered as she rested her forehead on mine. "Just look at me. Eyes on me." Chad pressed on the wound on my thigh with his other hand, another scream left my mouth.

"Keep her talking." Another voice floated around me. "They said it's important to keep her talking. Hold pressure on any wounds bleeding alot and keep her awake. They're four minutes out." I recognized it as Kirby, when she hung her head over mine and smiled. "You're doing so good kiddo, just hang in there for me." I nodded and weakly held a thumbs up.

Kirby knelt besides Chad as they held pressure on the multiple wounds across my body. I felt sick, physically sick from the pain. The more pressure they pushed onto my cuts, the more I screamed and the more it hurt. "Almost there. Just a little longer sweet." Mindy whispered into my ear, my fingers scrabbled to find hers and held her hand tight.

A smile rested on her face as she looked at me in the eyes. Both of her hands held onto mine. "H-hold..." I paused to catch my breath. "my hand..." I whispered as another cough brought up blood. "Don't want... alone." I muttered as everything grew fuzzy.

"You're not alone, I am right here. I got you. Open those beautiful green eyes for me, yeah? Squeeze the pain into me, I can take it." I weakly nodded my head, god, I was so tired. "How long!?" Mindy shouted as my breath came quicker and shorter.

"Two minutes out." Kirby yelled back, seemingly gone.

"She hasn't got two fucking minutes!" Chad panicked, tears ran down all of our faces. I took one of my hands from Mindy and rested it on Chad's.

Sirens flooded my senses as they replaced the ringing in my ears, and blue and red flourescent lights lit up the corridor. "They're here, they're here baby." Mindy whispered as I closed my eyes.

i was so tired.
