Gloria had taken pity on her neighbour Y/N. She let you stay over and even paid you to entertain her son. Unfortunately, you knew who Dandy was. You had heard him multiple times when you were in your garden trying to plant some flowers. Not like they'd grow anyway with how bad the weather has been lately.

The fire had been burned into your brain. (Ha-) "Well Mama was out, Dad was watching TV, he had the stove on, and was letting the pasta cook." You started to explain to Dora, she looked worried like she knew what was coming. "But, my old man fell asleep, and after a few minutes the water boiled over, and in then, fire!" An awkward giggle escaped your lips, as you were leaning on the dining table. Dora offered you her hand, and she just held onto it, her own way of supporting you.

"And that's why Mrs. Mott let you stay." You nodded in response. To you, Gloria was a kind woman who just wanted the best for her son, even if she did give in to his childish requests. Dora just sighed at you. "I hope you're happy being angry at Dandy. That child is so selfish and narcissistic."

"I know. I've felt his weird wrath once before." You chuckled. It was your second day, and Dandy was working out in his room, so you sat by his little stage and read the book you bought with you. It was a newly published book called Charlotte's Web. It was definitely a good read, and it kept you hooked until Dandy was in front of you, staring down at you.

"why weren't you watching me?" You raised an eyebrow at his offended tone.

"I was supposed to be watching you?"

"That's why you're here!! Obviously. Stupid cow." Dandy muttered the last two words, but you heard them. It made you roll your eyes and go back to the book, cosying yourself up on the decently soft mattress. Clearly, Dandy wasn't having that so he grabbed your wrist and yanked you away from the bed and your lovely book, you didn't say anything since you felt even letting out a whine would do more damage than good. "We're going to the freakshow."

"I don't want to-"

"WE'RE GOING AND THAT'S FINAL!" Dandy yelled back at you. You instinctively flinched away but he let out an annoyed sigh and dragged you downstairs. The performance tonight didn't start until 7pm, and it was only 3pm, so you wanted to question the man-child more but kept your mouth zipped.

Dora brought you out of the flashback by snapping her fingers in your face. "distracted?"

"Yeah, sorry. Just thinkin' about that night. It was odd, and the freaks almost looked sorry for me." It was an odd look the famous 'Lobster Boy' gave you. He was confused, but it had a hint of sympathy. A confused young-looking person, being dragged around by the man-child who would rant and vent to the freaks almost every other day. "I hope he doesn't take me again tonight."

A sigh was let out from Dora as she got up and started to walk into her little room, leaving you to your weird thoughts once again.

A few hours went past, and Dandy decided to go to the Freakshow by himself because "a boring person like you could never entertain him anymore." Good thing too, you needed some time to yourself, and that included going out to the shops for your own groceries. You felt bad for Dora, having to do everything, and you didn't even give her anything back. Thankfully, she appreciated the food you bought for yourself, and always welcomed you to join her when she did have to do a big shop.

Tonight you just laid on the makeshift bed, slowly falling asleep before the doors banged open and you jumped up, rubbing your eyes. Was it your vision or did you see a two-headed woman? "Y/N. Move. Bette and Dot are sleeping here tonight." They slowly walked up to the bed where you were, and in confusion, you moved. Dot mouthed a 'sorry' your way, and Bette nodded. You just nodded too in response, holding Charlotte's Web book close to your chest. "You can sleep on the sofa." Oh. Okay. That wasn't what you were expecting, but you felt small next to Dandy. His presence intimidated you even if he was a child really.

"Do we really have to kick this woman out Dandy? She seems to do no harm." One of them said, but you weren't sure who was who since you had never seen them before. Now you were standing in the corner of the room, close to the door.

"No! You're more important than that cow that can't even entertain me for 5 minutes!" Ouch.

"Dandy...that wasn't nice." So, one was the harsh and leader type and the other, the follower, you decided.

"no no it's okay, you are both beautiful girls, you deserve nothing but the best." You just smiled, trying to not look at Dandy at all. But you could feel how angry he was getting, so you made haste and walked out the door to the living room.

You placed yourself in the living room, and tears left your eyes soon after. You questioned why you were crying though. Dandy was a rotten and spoiled man-child who only deserved the worst. Footsteps interrupted you though, and you looked up, wiping those few tears away. "Don't cry." It was Dandy. You flipped him off, crying some more. "Seriously. Stop. It's embarrassing."

"then why the fuck are you down here?" You bluntly asked, crossing your arms and staring the man down. The sunlight stopped your vision it was so bright.

"...they made me apologize."

"The girls? Well, they do seem the type to put you in your place."

"Accept the apology." Dandy sat next to you, not wanting to waste more of his time on you.

"No. Apologize properly." You jabbed a finger on his chest, turning away from him.

A groan left Dandy's mouth, in his mind he just wanted to talk to Bette and Dot. He wanted to know more about them, and he liked them. They were so much more interesting to him than you. You were just a regular Joe to him. No talents, no piques of interest. And you weren't a freak. You weren't a beautiful two-headed woman. Called Bette and Dot. But he did the best thing he could think of. He kissed you. It took half a second to recognise it before you kicked him off. Then you punched him, screaming. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU DANDY?" You managed to punch him so hard his nose bled. everyone followed suit after the scream, running into the living room.

"Y/N? Dandy, are you okay?" Bette asked, deciding to speak up for everyone.

"SHE PUNCHED ME!"

"YOU KISSED ME!" You backed up, looking slightly guilty for punching Dandy right in his nose.

"I HATE YOU!" He screamed himself, and ran out, Dora following him to presumably clean him up. Your hands were shaky, and you felt tears again. Gloria just looked around worried. Now you'd really fucked up. She was sure to kick you out.

"Girls, could you take y/n to Dandy's playroom? Maybe she needs a nap." Gloria got out, her voice was almost as shaky as your hands. Bette nodded and Dot smiled at you as she held out her hand, which you held, unsure of if they hated you or not. But based on the way they were looking, they seemed happy with you. Was he really that much of a dick to the girls? They took you anyway, sitting on the small sofa-like chair in the middle of the room.

"I'm sorry for scaring you girls."

"It's quite welcome actually. Something is off about him."

"Off? Also, could you tell me your names? I'd like to know who I'm talking to." You smiled at them, rolling your hand a bit to make sure it was okay.

"Bette." She pointed to herself, and then to her sister. "Dot."

"Those are lovely names."

"Bette, Dot, a visitor wants to see you." Dandy barged in and said so, as a man walked in. It was Lobster Boy! "Y/N, come with me." You just made a face and nodded, getting up and walking past the handsome man, he winked at you before paying attention to Bette and Dot. The door closed behind you, and Dandy took you to a spare room, sitting you down.

"um...I don't want to do this.." Dandy muttered so you raised an eyebrow at him.

"Wanna say that again mister?" He turned around and shook his head, so you got up and placed your finger under his chin. "If you genuinely apologise, I may just apologise for punching you." Immediately, Dandy seemed a lot more submissive, and nodded, looking at you with puppy dog eyes. You laughed to yourself, you could have so much fun like this.

"I'm..sorry," Dandy said, still looking at you innocently.

"Good boy."
