Y/N was standing by the window in her hotel room, one she shared with the remarkable James Patrick March. Though many wanted to court the man, he kept his heart set on Y/N. The woman entranced him, as she was with the night sky that she was looking out at. "My dear, what are you looking at?" James asked, approaching Y/N and standing next to her, gently holding onto her waist.

The stars sparkled, and in awe, Y/N's mouth was slightly agape, immersed in her thoughts. "Star watching." She whispered, not fully there. James nodded in response and drank up Y/N's look, instead of joining her in stargazing. She looked bright in the moonlight, and her eyes glistened. It was like the moon wouldn't shine on anything else, but Y/n and her small, cosy pajamas. But the moon shone too on James, making him more pale than he already was. It was like he disappeared.

"You look so elegant my dearest." James just breathed. He was quiet, not wanting to distract Y/N at all. He did place a kiss on her cheek, holding any hair she had out of her face. "The moonlight makes you." Y/N nodded in response, not paying much attention to what James said. James smiled, bringing Y/n's head down to his shoulder, making sure she was comfortable. Y/N pointed to a star and looked to James.

"It's a shooting star, James! Make a wish." Y/N grinned, immediately whispering a wish to herself, not letting James hear it. "Did you make a wish darling?" She asked, holding James' hand, now looking back to the sky.

"I didn't have time." He chuckled and squeezed.

"So you had a wish?"

"I do indeed." Y/N cocked her head, now facing James, holding his hands. "I wish we were different. So I did not have to say goodbye to you next week. I need you, darling. To stay here with me, forever." He was smiling sadly, looking at their intertwined fingers. The paleness was almost paper white compared to Y/N who wasn't so pale.

Y/N's expression was worried, turned to sad, and she brought James close, kissing him, feeling his cold lips against hers. He happily returned the kiss though, placing a hand on the back of Y/N's head. It was a heated kiss, neither of them wanting to let go, but James did anyway, keeping his hand on her neck. "I wish I didn't have to go either, but I still have a week. I can stay with you that whole time if you wish."

Y/N got another kiss in response, the moonlight shining on them still.
