They waited it out till dawn, neither of them being very hungry, so they approached the tower. Tas went inside, he then rounded the corner to where the rooms were, then only realizing he had forgotten Fizban. Meanwhile Fizban was waiting by the entrance, he didn't notice the figures standing behind him. He then felt a cold hand upon his shoulder, he then slowly began turning around, he saw three hooded figures. All of them wearing black, ready to shoot spells, and a grin sat on each, a grin of evil. He then noticed how close these people were, he recognized them as three of the mages from the group before. Fizban had started to wonder where the rest of the group were, then five more mages materialized out of the shadows, surrounding him, each boring that look of evil. He then hoped Tas would come back and somehow stupidly create a solution to the problem before him.

Tas heard shuffling noises and ducked under table in nearby room. When footsteps receded, Tas got up and raced outside the building, hiding behind one of the corners of the building. He slowly peered over the corner, seeing the group of mages from before about to harm Fizban, realization struck him, for the footsteps earlier, belonged to the mages. He then saw a giant table made from wood and metal, he also saw a giant round block of cheese. Tas was very indecisive, but in the end decided on the round, Tas ran over to it inspecting it quickly, then ran back towards where he was standing before, realizing that there was another entrance to the building. Perhaps that entrance was closed to the rooms he had been in, for he was looking for a specific rope he had seen in the mapping room. Finding the room, he grabbed the rope and dashed out the door towards the giant round block of cheese. As he was thinking of cheese, the thought of Flint crossed his mind, he visioned the old dwarf sitting under his tree, watching Tas make a fool of himself while tying a rope around a giant piece of cheese chaos.

As Flint would say,"Tas, sometimes I wonder what goes on in that brain of yours" he would look at him with a stern face and scowl once again.

When Tas was done tying the rope around the cheese, he tied the other end to a tree and positioned it to where the mages where standing. He grabbed his small pocket knife. He had previously borrowed a bigger knife from Caramon, but Caramon found it in his pouch. For it was too big to fit in there and then gave Tas the smaller knife, Tas sighed and scowled at his pouches for being too small for Caramon's knife. He then began severing the rope, getting through layer after layer, going as quick as he could. He was running out of time and they were slowly getting closer to Fizban.

He jumped excitedly when he got through the last layer,"Yes! I finally got through it!" Tas said jumping up and down in excitement before realizing, a certain block of cheese was rolling towards him.

"Uh-Oh, Fizban! it seems that I have cut the rope at the wrong end!" he shouted out over towards Fizban, though Fizban was in a bit of a small problem and in no way cable of helping Tas, who was currently running away from a giant round block of rolling cheese.

"Ahhh, Fizban run! and help me!" came Tas's voice from in front of him.

Fizban dashed towards a corner of the building, Tas in tow, then the cheese crashed into the mages, taking them out and creating a cheesy mess. Once Fizban and Tas got out of the cheese, Tas showed him the entrance he had taken the first time he went there. He then lead Fizban through all of the rooms. When they got to the fourth room he triggered the floating bookshelf with the cursed Kender book, they then walked all the way to the sixth room, then Tas showed him the open box laying on the floor, being a Kender he left it there lazily.
