Tas awoke suddenly from a noise in the distance, leaving him to get up and inspect the grounds around their camp. When he nearer to the trees he heard reptilian voices, Tas suddenly realized that there where draconians surrounding their camp in an ambush. Tas quickly ran back over to Fizban, shaking him awake, trying to quietly explain what was happening. Fizban jumped up, grabbing his hat, he told Tas to grab his dagger, while he made an intricate designed sword and then made it appear. Grabbing it, he ran to Tas in th middle of the clearing, facing back to back, they saw all the reptilian eyes. There were at least fifteen draconians standing around them, Fizban ushered them over with a quick movement of his hand. Fizban struck the first with his sword, making it plunge into the stomach of the draconian in front of him, Fizban then reminded himself that they turned to stone and quickly grabbed back on his sword as the creature fell to the ground, turning to stone. A second one lunged at Tas, causing him to fall, but with a quick movement he had the draconian beside him, he then summoned the dagger, saying.
"Takarum!"
Soon the draconian had a dagger in it's throat, Tas quickly yanked back on the dagger as the draconian turned to stone beside him. Fizban cast the Fireball spell at a group of them, the rest of them they took out by hand.
They fled shortly after the fight had ceased, fearing more would come back. Since they had been travelling for several days, Tas pulled out a map and figured they were nearing Sanction. After Kitiara's sudden death, everything had become evil and mourning over her death.
"No wonder we got attacked, we're near Sanction" Tas shouted back at Fizban.
"Well, yes that would make more sense" Fizban replied trying to catch up to Tassslehoff.
Tas saw this action and purposefully ran ahead just the slightest bit, it was almost dawn so they decided to keep travelling. When they passed Sanction the evil and mourning, the feeling, was left behind.
When Tas awoke the next morning, he saw a familiar face, the last time he saw him was during the time when they were trying to stop Raistlin from becoming a god.
"Rounce? Is that you?" he asked, a confused look set on his face.
"Hello, Tasslehoff Burrfoot, good see you too!" Rounce said with excitement.
They started to walk around the town that him and Fizban had travelled to.
"What did you's do to stone?" Rounce asked after Tas had finished telling the story about him and Fizban fighting a draconian ambush.
"Well, here it is, it was in my pouch" Tas replied handing him the stone.
Rounce moved it around in his hand, running his finger along the ancient ruin engraved into it,"What this?" Rounce asked curiously.
"Fizban said it's an old mage ruin" Tas replied.
"Magic?" Rounce asked quietly.
"Yes I suppose it is" Tas said replying in the same quieter tone Rounce spoke in.
"Me no like magic" Rounce said handing the stone back quickly, never explaining why.
Soon it became dark, then Rounce said he had to get home to his family, so Tasslehoff walked back to where him and Fizban were staying. He then ate with Fizban and told him all about his encounter with Rounce. He went to sleep shortly after, dreaming of being home with his aunt's and uncle's or his mum, oh how he missed his her, he would pay any amount of money to hear her voice again. For he was very homesick, he wanted to be in Kendermore, wanted to be in his homeland. He wanted to share the stories of his adventures with everyone. Oh, how he wished he could go home.
