Tasslehoff was enjoying his stay in Solace, when suddenly an adventure caught hold of his topknot. On this day, Tas had been wandering around the Inn, when a very peculiar figure walked in and stood at the bar. Tas had just been waiting for Otik to serve him his meal, when the slightly shorter figure, well shorter than most of the people he'd seen, walked over and sat directly next to Tas. Tas couldn't help but notice his worn old hat and long grey hair, Tas then became very curious as to who the man was.
"Hello, I'm Tasslehoff Burrfoot" he said, making the man turn and face him.
"Hello, I'm...What was it now?...It's on
the tip of my tongue...Fizzy Fire...Fiz Fury...Fizlance" Tas gave him a very puzzled glance as to why he couldn't remember his own name. Then recognition hit Tas."Oh I know! Fizban right? Don't you remember me? It's Tas!" he shouted with a thrill.
"Ah, yes I remember now" Fizban replied.
"I haven't seen you in so long" Tas said remembering their last adventure.
"I've come across a new adventure, and your just the person for it, So I came in search of you! I was coming this way when I thought you might want to join me for this perilous journey."
"Well, I'm glad you came here, I was getting tired of Solace, I know every trail like the back of my hand."
Otik had stopped during their conversation and sat down Tas's meal, eyeing him as he walked away from the counter. Otik was well known for being a kind host and one of the best Innkeepers in Solace. He still remained a good host even though he had heard some striking conversations in the Inn. Fighting was not permitted but occasionally it occurred. As he walked by, he couldn't help but wonder why Tas was talking to this old man instead of stealing his wallet, or starting a big argument with him. Otik knew to mind his business but occasionally his thoughts got the better of him.
Tas was a smart kender and Otik enjoyed having him around the Inn when Caramon was busy. Sometimes Otik got complaints of Tas borrowing travellers or regulars things, but it was as difficult as Otik had imagined. Later on Otik saw the two leaving the Inn, talking of some magic quest.
