Helping Out

My alarm was going off for the morning. I groggily got up and stopped my morning alarm. I hated waking up so early, but I had to wake up early for my job, and I got money for it, so I couldn't complain. I got out of bed, and put on my work uniform. My job is to help out in the Mega Pizzaplex, at the Superstar Daycare, to make sure the Sun and Moon animatronics don't malfunction or break down, I have to clean up after the kids so Sun and Moon don't have to, and I have to prepare for tomorrow morning at the end of the day. Because of Fazbear Entertainment's budget, I'm the only person that works at the Daycare. Lucky me.

I went downstairs to eat my breakfast real quick, then I brushed my teeth thoroughly and brushed my hair. I grabbed my purse, keys, and went to my black SUV. I started the engine and drove to the Mega Pizzaplex. I finally pulled into the driveway of the Mega Pizzaplex eventually. I was here 15 minutes early, but luckily I had a key to the Mega Pizzaplex, in case I wanted to go to work early, knowing how protecting the Daycare Attendants sometimes are, they appreciate it when I'm early. So I'm comforting them when I come in early.

I unlocked the doors of the Pizzaplex, and locked the doors behind me, knowing it isn't really time to open the actual Pizzaplex yet. I walked to the Daycare, and went down the huge tube slide. It's a fun way to start off my day, though my peers usually tell me that I'm a child at heart. I could care less about their opinions, since it is true. That's probably why I get along with the Daycare Attendants so well.

Once I slid into the ball pit, I stood up to look around. I knew Sun was probably in their "Daycare Attendant bedroom" area--up that castle ledge--as Sun and Moon like to call it. I got out of the ball pit and--like usual--watched Sun enthusiastically dive into the shallow ball pit. How the hell does he do that without some sort of head injury? Or his servos locking up?

"You're back!!" Sun exclaimed and ran up to me. He gave me a tight hug and soon let go. "I'm so glad you're back! Moon and I are happy to see you! Ready for another day at work?"

"Ready as I'll ever be," I reassured him. Sun grinned.

"Great! Let's open up the Daycare and get to work, Y/N! Moon says he's also ready," Sun informs me. Moon is the animatronic that comes out when the lights go out. He's the same animatronic as Sun, but only comes out when everything is dark. So Sun can hear what Moon says, and vice versa when Moon is out. Kinda like a voice in their head, except it's just another animatronic conscience.

"Well, let's start!" I say as Sun stands by the slide, waiting for the first couple of kids to slide down into the ball pit. While for me, I was doing some final touches in the Daycare. For example: putting the barrels in the correct positions, or cleaning up any excess toys and putting it in the toy bin.

Soon children started coming in, and Sun was playing with them and giving them all the attention they needed like he usually does. It warmed my heart knowing how much Sun cares about children, whether they have a disability, a disorder, or if they're just shy, he treats them all evenly and with respect.

Sometimes I even help out with the children once in a while, but the kids always prefer Sun, which I respect. Since Sun was built to deal with the kids, after all. So I just watched from afar, making sure Sun doesn't get overwhelmed or glitch out. Since then I would have to intervene.

But today, Sun didn't break down or anything. Which I was thankful for. Since fixing Sun or Moon can be quite a hassle.

"Okay kids! It's time for nap time!!" Sun exclaimed. All of the kids cheered and stumbled into the nap time area. Sun smiled, then suddenly the lights turned off. Sun went behind one of play structures, then Sun turned into the Moon animatronic. The kids watched the transition and squealed in excitement.

Moon chuckled as he left the structure and went into the napping area. He tucked each kid into bed, and gave them Moondrops, which was a melatonin based candy. He sang the kids to sleep, and made sure all of the kids were asleep before leaving the bedroom area. Moon stared at me for a moment, then smiled.

"Hello Y/N. Lovely seeing you here..." Moon chuckled.

"Nice seeing you as well, Moon," I say. "Is there anything you need me to do? It's my job after all to assure that you guys are comfortable, along with the children."

"Not necessarily...I'm perfectly fine right now. Same with Sun. Once the kids leave the Daycare for the day, then you can sanitize and clean everything like you usually do. Other then that, we're fine."

"Alright," I sigh. "Just tell me when you need anything, okay? Along with Sun. Since it's my job, after all."

"Sounds good," Moon says. "We appreciate you and your support. Sun and I don't really get as much attention as the other Glamrocks, so we appreciate it. A lot."

"Oh, it's no problem. While we wait for the kids to wake up, wanna just relax? You and Sun have always been working 24/7, besides when the Mega Pizzaplex is closed. You guys deserve a break too. Certainly when you work all day, along with Sun."

"If you say so...but once the kids wake up, Sun and I will have to work some more, per usual."

"I know...just don't overwork yourself."

"We won't. We promise."

Once an hour goes by, the kids eventually wake up. Moon enters the nap time area, and makes sure all of the kids are successfully awake, before doing the whole transition with turning into Sun again once the lights turn on.

"Helloo kids! How did you guys sleep? Did ya rest well?" Sun asked them. All of the kids nodded their heads, and Sun smiled. "That's great!! We have 2 more hours of play before your parents come!"

Sun plays with the kids for the next 2 hours, until eventually the parents started coming in for their child. Once everyone left, Sun looked at me and grins.

"Ready to clean up? I can help if you want me to!" Sun offers.

"No, no! It's my job, after all."

Sun sighs, but doesn't protest. "Alright. Just tell me when you need my help, okay?"

"I will. I promise."

I smiled to Sun reassurance as I started cleaning up and sanitizing the place for tomorrow morning, like I usually do.
