New Animatronics

It was the next day, and I slid down the slide into the ball pit. Sun jumped into a ball pit like usual, and he seemed a bit nervous. Though, I knew why: Eclipse and Lunar are coming in today. The Daycare is closed today because of that, so we have as much time as possible to get to know Eclipse and Lunar, and understand them as animatronics.

I left the ball pit, and waited near the entrance of the Superstar Daycare. Sun was pacing back and forth, clearly afraid to meet these newer models.

Lunar's POV...

I wake up and look around. I was in some sort of funky office with another animatronic next to me.

"Wha...?" I gasped. There were a few people swarmed around this animatronic and me.

"How do you guys feel?" A woman asks us. I shrug.

"I feel funky," I sigh. "What is this place?"

"You're going to be the new Daycare Attendants along Sun and Moon," Another one informs us.

"Really?" The animatronic next to me gasped. "Huh...interesting..."

"Yep. Head over to the Daycare. Miss Y/N will give you guys a tour of the Superstar Daycare, just so you know the whereabouts," One of them mentioned.

"Ooh! Is she, like, the one that works at the Daycare?" I ask, bouncing up and down.

"Yep! Go over there, and she'll make sure you feel just at home. The Daycare is closed today, just so you guys can get situated."

"Okay!" I exclaim. Once the people left the office, I took a breath. I turned around to the animatronic next to me. "Hello! My name is Lunar, what's your name?"

The animatronic smiles, "I'm Eclipse. So we're both new to this Daycare, hm? Are you excited?"

"YES!"

"Wow. You're hyper."

"Yeah! I was built to be extremely child friendly, so I act like a child! Hehe."

"That's nice...I'm just more mature it seems."

"Pro-ba-bly," I said, trying to pronounce my words carefully. Eclipse and I leave the office. We walked to the entrance of the Daycare and Eclipse opened the big wooden doors.

"Hellooo!!" I yelled out. I turned and looked at an animatronic who appeared to be Sun-themed, and a girl, who I assumed was Y/N. They both jumped a bit by my enthusiasm. "My name is Lunar, and he's Eclipse!"

"You're very hyper," Sun points out. I nod, bouncing up and down.

"Yeah!!"

Y/N's POV...

I laughed a bit at Lunar's enthusiasm, and waved.

"Hey, my name is Y/N, and I'll be giving you guys a tour, and I will tell you guys what your specific jobs are in this Daycare."

"Ooh! We have specific jobs?" Lunar asks.

"Yes, Lunar, she just said that," Eclipse sighed. Eclipse seems like the exact opposite of Lunar, which makes me intrigued.

"What's my job???"

"Should we start with your guy's jobs first, then? Then we can do the tour."

"Yesss!!" Lunar exclaimed, and Eclipse nods in agreement.

"Alright. Lunar, your job is with Moon and you're going to help kids to go to bed. But what makes your job different from Moon is that you can to tell the kids bedtime stories, and reassure a child if they wake up from a nightmare, and play with the kids that are awake until everybody else is awake."

"YAY!" Lunar cheered.

"While Eclipse, you're here to make sure every kid isn't overwhelmed. You're the one that can play with the kids with sensitive hearing, or kids who are introverted and quiet, who aren't that social. Since you aren't social, the quiet kids and sensitive hearing kids would appreciate a quieter animatronic, which is why you're here."

"Cool," Eclipse sighs. "Where's Moon? I heard you guys had a Moon themed animatronic here."

I look over to Sun, and he nods.

"Well, Sun and Moon are the same animatronics. When it's light, Sun is out. When it's dark, Moon is out. Fazbear Entertainment is going to give Moon his own body eventually. But right now, they're in the same body. Think about it like 2 AI's in one body."

"Funky," Lunar giggles. "Do we have beanbag chairs?"

I smile, "Yes, Lunar, we have beanbag chairs."

"Yayyy!!"

I chuckle. It's time for the tour, isn't it?
