23. Stealing dried mangoes

Wen Kexing wakes up early in the morning but Zhou Zishu is not lying in bed beside him which makes Lao Wen worried so he gets up and walks out of his wedding room to look for A-Shu.

It is still early morning and the morning rays are just beginning to appear in the sky but Zhou Zishu is nowhere to be seen.

Wen Kexing is terrified as to where his partner has disappeared to so early in the morning.

Wen Kexing hurries to Ye Baiyi's room to inform him and then the two of them head to Zhang Chengling's room to look for him.

They all gather at the Four Seasons Manor and start looking for Zhou Zishu.

Wen Kexing even calls out his partner's name loudly, "A-Shu, where are you? Can you hear me?"

Wen Kexing's heart races as he curses himself for being so careless about his newlywed partner.

Everyone is worried about where Zhou Zishu went so early in the morning without informing anyone.

Jing Beiyuan and Da Wu look for Zhou Zishu in every room and backyard, even Gao XiaoLian and Xie Min join them in the search.

Wen Kexing runs around like crazy, shouting, "A-Shu, can you hear me? A-Shu, where have you gone?"

Suddenly Xia Min asks everyone to gather at one place then suddenly she says something which is hard to digest for all of them and they all silently follow Xia Min and see the real scene which make them all shocked.

Zhou Zishu is hiding inside the kitchen and eating mango pickle, sweet lemon pickle and some dried mangoes even his hands are full of pickle oil and his face is dirty with pickle stains.

Wen Kexing's anger turns into a smile when he sees Zhou Zishu looking very pretty while stealing various pickles and dried mangoes with a glass of soothing liquid mango panna.

Zhou Zishu eats comfortably under the kitchen shelf, hiding himself from being exposed as soon as people see him.

Wen Kexing quietly signals the others to go to the hall from the kitchen as he doesn't want to disturb Zhou Zishu so they all smile and go to the hall.

They all still can't believe that Zhou Zishu can steal pickles and dried mangoes so early in the morning.

Ye Baiyi notices that Zhou Zishu has never asked for alcohol since coming back from the Glaze Armor Library, and even his taste buds have returned and he has started to enjoy spicy food more.

Today, Zhou Zishu enjoys pickles like a little kid and eats them with relish even though he was never a picky eater before.

After coming back to the library pavilion, Zhou Zishu has started acting even more weird and he starts kissing Wen Kexing in front of everyone without caring what anyone thinks.

Zhou Zishu is even more shameless than Wen Kexing now whereas last night he was moaning loudly while romancing in his room at bedtime and no longer feels shy around others

Ye Baiyi asked Wen Kexing, "Have you noticed anything strange in Zhou Zishu's behavior? Don't you think he has changed a lot and even started to have a taste for food? A-Shu has never behaved like this before but now he refuses to even touch alcohol and quietly eats sour pickles. I'm worried about him now because his body is changing in a way that you may not have noticed before."

Wen Kexing nodded his head in agreement as he agreed with Ye Baiyi as his partner has started to show a lot of changes that he had never noticed before.
