38. Happy Ending

Wen Kexing gives Zhou Zishu a few days to recover from the dungeon as he is still in a state of shock due to Little Timmy's death.

Zhou Zishu develops a strong attachment to the child in the dungeon in 15 days as they both get very bad food inside the dungeon and both were in a poor condition but still he got very attached to the orphan girl.

When Wen Kexing raised Gu Xiang from childhood to adulthood, he treated her like his younger sister or daughter and after her death, Lao Wen also felt very sad and today he can understand his partner Zhou Zishu's emotional situation.

When Zhou Zishu starts to get back to normal, he writes Little Timmy's name on a wooden board and places it in the ancestral hall after returning to Four Seasons Manor.

Zhang ChengLing and Gao XiaoLian become very emotional after seeing Zhou Zishu back as they think they have truly lost him.

The differences between Zhang ChengLing and Gao XiaoLian also end and the two start getting closer as they spend a lot of time together.

After a few months, when Zhou Zishu became normal, Wen Kexing asked him how he got kidnapped in the southern region.

The children were crying loudly and demanding some food, so as soon as I turned to the other side to get some food, suddenly someone sprinkled a powder on me, due to which I became unconscious. When I woke up, I was locked inside a dungeon and I saw many people chained with me there. What surprised me the most was that Xu Ling kidnapped me for Queen Feng Xianli, but I don't know why Qi sect wanted to keep me locked in the dungeon. For me, even breathing in that dungeon was a pain, but my mind was diverted because of that little girl. I regret a lot that after some time the little girl died in my lap even I couldn't do anything for save her."

Wen Kexing tried to comfort Zhou Zishu by saying, "A-Shu, it's not your fault because the child was already very sick and there was nothing you could do to her in the dungeon. I am so relieved to see you well because everyone thought you might as well not be alive anymore. I wanted to punish the king of Qi State who tried to kidnap you with my own hands but I heard that the bastard Feng Ming died a gruesome death as a reward for his actions. Forgive me that I could not protect you on time, but when you were kidnapped, I myself went into coma after being hit by a stone due to the blast."

Zhou Zishu is shocked to hear about Wen Kexing's coma so he says, "Lao Wen, I really didn't know that the blast would put you in a coma. Tell me quickly how are you now. I really feel bad whenever you suffer so much because of me. Now you must not take any risks because of me or else I will be angry with you forever."

Wen Kexing smiled hard and said, "A-Shu, a little mouse like Xu Ling dared to kidnap you so now I will punish the Xu Sect so that they will never dare to harm any of my people again."

Zhou Zishu grimaced and said, "Lao Wen, you thought that little mouse was innocent and look at him, he had the guts to kidnap me and trade me with the former Second Queen of the Qi Sect. From now on, if any teenage boy like Xu Ling is seen around you, no one will be worse off than me because these immature boys are stupid and can do anything in anger when they are blinded by love."

Wen Kexing kissed Zhou Zishu on the cheeks and said, "A-Shu, I don't care about anyone else but you and I will teach this little rat a good lesson for trying to harm you and my unborn child. The Xu Sect will now have a good time and will never be able to go against the Five Lakes Alliance again."

Wen Kexing lies on the bed with Zhou Zishu in his embrace and the two fall asleep in each other's arms feeling each other's warmth.

**Few Months Later**

Wen Kexing sentences the Xu sect leader Xu Tian and his son Xu Ling to life imprisonment as punishment for conspiring with the former King of Qi to betray the Five Lakes Alliance in front of everyone.

Xu Tian commits suicide in jail out of shame because being the leader of a sect he is facing life imprisonment and the second biggest reason is that his son kidnapped someone and sold him because his son was attracted to men.

Xu Tian never considered Xu Ling as his heir so before dying he disinherits his gay son from his property because he is a conservative and orthodox man.

Xu Ling regrets that his father committed suicide because of the shame of his son being gay but in his perspective loving another man is not a crime.

Xu Ling regrets his poor decision made out of ignorance and anger after his father's death, which causes embarrassment to everyone.

**WenZhou's Life**

A few months later, Zhou Zishu gives birth to a daughter, who is named Wen Xiang after Gu Xiang.

Wen Kexing becomes very attached to his daughter Wen Xiang and starts taking care of her like a good father.

Jing Beiyuan and Da Wu also get married and they adopt three orphans from Qi's dungeon.

Zhang ChengLing also reaches legal age and marries Gao XiaoLian and they have two children.

Xia Min marries Ping An and they both start living together in the Lord of Seven sect and occasionally visit the Four Seasons Manor to meet everyone with their twins daughter.

Liu Qianqiao also comes to Four Seasons Manor to spend summer holidays with the Scorpion King and her two twin sons also go there and have a lot of fun.

Ye Baiyi and Uncle Shen Shen together hand over the responsibility of Nan He sect to Zhang ChengLing when he turns 20.

Wang Yunxi's son takes over all the responsibilities of Yu Yang sect and after getting married, Wang Mei starts ruling the sect.

Zhang ChengLing and Gao XiaoLian together take over the responsibility of the Nan He sect and take care of their subjects while ruling with Ye Baiyi accompanying them.

Shen Shen also started expanding his sect in Mount Dagu and after handing over the complete responsibility of his sect to his sister's son, Shen Shen started living in a Buddhist temple to attain salvation through spiritual knowledge.

After a few years, Ye Baiyi also goes to the mountains and starts living in solitude to gain spiritual knowledge to achieve salvation and he never returns to the Five Lakes Alliance because he feels that now the purpose of his life has been fulfilled and now he has no desire to live longer.
