Aruhi
The next day was filled with anticipation and excitement as we prepared to attend the Maharaja and Maharani's 30th wedding anniversary celebration. I had chosen to wear a lilac lehenga with intricate silver embroidery, feeling a mix of elegance and charm as I adorned myself with delicate silver jewellery. The pastel hue of my attire complemented my excitement for the evening.
As we arrived at the grand Shekhawat residence, the air was filled with festivity and celebration. The venue was beautifully decorated, with fairy lights adorning the gardens and marigold flowers decorating the entrance.
As we entered the opulent venue, my heart raced with a palpable mixture of nervousness and excitement. Reuniting with the Shekhawat family was a heartwarming prospect.
The celebration was in full swing, and I found myself amidst a sea of smiling faces and joyous greetings. Laughter and animated conversations filled the air, the vivacity of the occasion was infectious, and my nerves gradually began to subside.
As I was taking in the exuberance of the celebration, my attention was drawn to a familiar face in the crowd. Kiara, with her radiant smile, appeared before me and greeted me warmly, "Aruhi, you look stunning!" she exclaimed, her enthusiasm lighting up her face. With her usual exuberance, she took my hand and began guiding me through the crowd.
Before I knew it, I found myself standing with Rudraksh, Rishi, Vikram and Kiaan, the younger members of the Shekhawat clan. They greeted me with welcoming smiles. Kiaan, with a mischievous glint in his eye, couldn't resist adding a touch of flirtation to the atmosphere. He dramatically placed his hand over his heart and exclaimed, "Haye, Aruhi, you look so beautiful!"
I couldn't help but blush and playfully roll my eyes at his antics, his theatrical gesture and playful tone made me giggle, "Thank you, Kiaan," I replied with a hint of shyness.
As our laughter subsided, one by one, the other siblings and cousins began to excuse themselves, leaving Rudraksh and me alone in a secluded corner of the venue. The atmosphere around us seemed to shift, becoming more intimate and charged with a different kind of energy.
As I stood in the beautiful garden with Rudraksh, my heart raced with a mix of excitement, nervousness, and anticipation.
I felt my heart beating out of my chest as I met his intense gaze. His hands were behind his back, drawing me even closer. The look in his eyes made me feel nervous and shy, my cheeks flaring with a burning blush.
Rudraksh and I stood there, our proximity creating an intimate bubble around us. The soft glow of fairy lights and the distant melody of the celebration provided the perfect backdrop for this moment.
His voice, velvety and filled with emotion, gently broke the silence, "Aruhi, aap bohot sundar lag rahi hain."
My breath caught in my throat, and I felt my heart racing faster. The moonlight seemed to glisten in his eyes, and his proximity sent shivers down my spine. I found myself lost in the depth of his gaze, and I responded with a soft, heartfelt smile.
