The light of day rises to the creation of a new world becoming free from the evil doers of this world who make the world rot, one heart at a time. He sees and judges the fate of each heart in His hands for their evil deeds have been revealed to His rays.

Yet, His rays were not bright enough to see the man who lurks in the mistiest shadows of this world where He couldn't find his heart for he has challenged his wrath against the wicked of this world.

"I AM JUSTICE!" They proclaim.

Everyday, hearts bleed down the wrists of Kira. One after another dies as the light of day uncovers the shadows they crawl into for they fear they will bleed down the wrists from the hands of whom belong to man and nothing more than a killer. Or that's what the world's greatest detective claims to know. But who knows, really?

Yet the real question is: How can man gain so much power?

L, the world's greatest detective, remains in the mist of task force headquarters, searching for the culprit behind all these murders of criminals, who, indeed, is proven to be no god. L would no longer be hidden from the face of the world for members of the NPA has met their opportunity to meet L, face to face, for their trust in L for this investigation against Kira.

The next few months of this case went by smoothly. Finding one clue after the next until the sun began to set for the day. L and the task force stump over searching for possible leads for their investigation until a man in a black suit walk into the room to announce "Ryuzaki, something seems to be happening... On Sakura TV."

The detectives rush to the dark room lit by a TV that Watari came out from and see Kira prove his powers through killing 2 news reporters and announce his intent with all of the world's criminals. It doesn't take long for some policemen to surround Sakura TV to stop the broadcast. Only to suddenly collapse in front of the TV station for everyone to see.

The broadcast takes a turn as a truck crashes through Sakura TV as an alternative entrance to Kira's tapes. The driver may not have been seen by this god but L knew it was Chief Yagami who crashed into Sakura TV.

The police making their way to the TV station without any form of protection causes Deputy Director Kitamura to get his policemen under control before more become claimed in the hands of this Kira.

And so they blocked kira's views to let Chief Yagami walk out of the building safely, with the physical evidence of Kira's messages.

The hotel room is dimmed by the lighting that shines from the TVs that faintly flash across the room. Chief Yagami hands the bag to the man with dark, disheveled hair. He starts to dig through the brown paper bag and pulls out a tape before pulling out an envelope with stamps.

'Mr Yagami... this won't go to waste. The letter was sent from Osaka... but Kira can control his victims before they die, so he could have delivered it from Osaka without...' he thought before the dim lighting brightened slightly, 'going there, himself.'

"Mr Aizawa." He passed the bag to the detective. "Can you please take this to the crime lab, right away?"

"I still have a couple of friends there," he answers and holds the bag. "I'll make sure they go over every inch of this."

"That's good. Please do so." The man adds "while you're doing that, i'm going to watch those tapes to see if they tell us anything."

And just like that, the man's eyes light up as they have found a lead to catch Kira for once and for all.
