If I'd just waited a bit longer this wouldn't have happened. Will she finally remember me? Will she remember my name and what importance I had in her life? I beg that she ꙅɿɘdmɘmɘЯ.

Rule: Don't Forget His Name.

Tyler Kenard applied to the reality show like most other contestants. He was a self proclaimed jock with a bit of hiccups. He knew he was strong, he just couldn't properly portray his strength without messing up in some way.

Upon reaching the dock and having the introduction Tyler stood beside his fellow contestants, sizing them up when his eyes lingered on the bubbly blonde. Lindsey. She was just too pretty in his eyes and he couldn't look away. Her eyes met his and she giggled, a soft blush dusting her cheeks.

Tyler made it his mission to get closer to Lindsey, even when they were separated into different teams. He would invite her on late night walks, listen to her talk about the girly stuff he didn't truly understand, and bask in her company. The more time they spent together, the more Tyler felt his heart swell with love for her.

The days passed, leading into weeks. While Tyler could remember all that Lindsey had mentioned he realized she could not remember things, such as his high school sports, his fears, his name. It didn't stop him from trying to get her to remember, but it took a toll on him slowly. He felt drained from all the effort he was putting in, yet it was worth it to see her smile.

It was just like every other night they'd spent together, a nice stroll, her soft voice drawing out a funny memory she had. Tyler smiled as they walked, till he stopped and sighed. "Hey, uh Linds. Do you remember my name?"

Lindsey turned to look at the jock, tilting her head to the side, "Tyson, of course I'd remember your name!" Tyler grunted in frustration, kicking a rock.

"Lindsey, my name is Tyler. Ty-ler. Why can't you remember it?" Tyler looked at her, the sadness in his eyes matched by her own pained look.

Lindsey felt a tear prick in her eye as she looked Tyler up and down. "It's not that I try to forget who you are, I just can't remember you."

Tyler looked at her defeated before turning his back to her. "I feel like you'd make an effort to remember your own boyfriend's name. You tell me about your ex's all the time and can remember their names, but mine always slips your mind... You should head back to camp, I need to take a walk alone."

Lindsey took a step towards Tyler before deciding against it and walking back to camp. Tyler turned to watch her leave, his heart hurting as he walked towards the beach, fighting every urge he had to not cry. He sat by the water throwing stones and replaying every day he had spent with the blonde. She was ditzy, had a bad memory, and struggled with daily things but she made Tyler happy.

The poor teen boy was so lost in thought he hadn't heard the footsteps approaching him, and if he had, he most likely thought Lindsey had come back for him. If he had looked up or even turned around he might not have gotten the rope pulled against his throat. Tyler struggled, pulling against the rope as he got dragged from the beach towards the forest.

The pressure and lack of oxygen caused Tyler to see spots, eventually losing his vision as his unknown assailant continued dragging him. When Tyler was able to take a deep breath of air, it was as water was being poured over his face. He tried to sit up but found he was tied down to a bed-like table. His eyes widened as he scanned the room, trying to speak but not finding the words.

"I watched that pathetic scene... Poor Tyler, forgotten once again." Tyler's eyes scanned the room, trying to find the source of the voice. "The words you spoke to her weren't very kind, but you lucked out and saved her. She would be dying with you if you hadn't have sent her away~" The unknown assailant sang beside him.

Tyler turned his head, his eyes locking on the dark mask of the black dressed figure. His body was shaking as he noticed the room he was in was filled with tools of all shapes and sizes, his brain latching on to the words of the unknown figure, 'she would have died with you.'

Tyler found his voice, hoarse and raggedly he opened his mouth. "I-Im going to die?" The unknown figure smirked behind it's mask, nodding it's head. Tyler cried, his last words being to the girl he loved but not being nice.

The unknown figure laughed as it picked up the water, pouring it over Tyler's face once again. "Don't worry, poor Tyson, I won't forget who you are~" Tyler sputtered, trying to keep the water from blocking his air way. "Just close your eyes and give up, you won't win this challenge."

Tyler cried as he couldn't fight anymore, he took his last mangled breath as the water filled his lungs, salty tears mingling with the water dripping off his face.

The unknown figure smiled as it set to work, swiftly and quickly detaching Tyler's hands sewing them over his closed eyes. It took a carving knife, etching words into the teens lifeless flesh. The unknown figure then set to cutting out Tyler's heart, sewing it to the outside of his chest. After admiring their work, they dragged Tyler's body back to the camp, propping him onto a stump at the campfire and stalking back to the forest.

As the morning sun hit, everyone was awoke to the high pitched scream of a blonde. Her wails and screams of terror had everyone running out, ready to kill whatever bug had made her scream. Their eyes were met to the horrific sight that Lindsey was crying over.

The body of Tyler was being cradled by Lindsey, crying and shaking as she held him tightly to her chest. Gwen walked over slowly, her body lurching as she felt herself about to throw up. Her eyes scanned the dead teen closer. His heart was caked in dried blood and his hands, marked with 'Remember Me?' Now permanently covering his eyes.

Gwen slowly took Lindsey into her arms, leading her away as Lindsey wailed. "I won't forget you Tyler, never again, I'm so sorry. It's all my fault!"

Tyler's body shifted, his sightless gaze following her voice. "She remembers me...?" The unison scream of the fellow campers sounded with the flood of footsteps as Tyler's body sat on the log.
