Five's POV
Right, all right. Time to turn those frowns upside down! A young lady has asked me to if she can sing, beware she is every drunk. Give it up for Valerie! Chet Says.

Valerie sang in French, none of us understood what she was singing but everybody thought it was very upbeat and got up and danced to it.

She was steaming drunk. She was giggling all the time. And I definitely was the blame for this. She nearly fell off the stage at one point.

Valerie's POV
After I sang I went to the dance floor to join everybody else dancing as Chet put on some upbeat music. I noticed that Five came to join us and saw Dad go by our table, where I left my drink. I couldnt see anything else afterwards as everybody was dancing everywhere and blocking my view. But I didn't worry about it, I was just happy that everybody was having fun. I stepped away and took a sip of my drink. Suddenly a wave of dizziness hit me, I could sense something was wrong but couldnt know what. I looked under my glass to notice something crushed up laying at the bottom of it. I felt nauseous, out of control and didn't know if I should tell anyone what has happened. I looked at my hand, waved it and it seemed wrong. It felt out of sync. I told nobody that I was leaving. Not even Five. When I was close to my room I stumbled and tripped over my own two feet. I noticed that dad was watching me, when he saw me looking back at him he walked off with a slight grin on his face. The hall I walked down felt like it was spinning, I didn't know what to do. So I had to keep walking until I could reach my room. But I couldn't, my legs were giving up on me, and without a warning I fell by the door of the room that I was supposed to be in by now. My eyes were getting heavy, and could feel myself falling asleep on the cold, dirty floor.

The next morning I woke up and was still on the ground. My makeup was smeared all over my face and my head was killing me. My legs were hurting and I could see somebody come up behind me.

"Valerie, why are you on the floor" Allison Says. I sat up and looked at her. "No clue, was last night fun for you" "Not really, looks like you had fun though. By the way dad's calling a meeting, can you come?" She asked. Why the hell is Father having a meeting? "Yeah sure, I just need to change and grab a coffee or something" "I'll see you in a second" She said as she walks off with her hands in her pockets.

Once I was finally in some comfortable clothes and felt a little bit better and joined everybody else downstairs.

"Woo!"
"Five!"
"Yeah!"

( all cheering )
( cheering and whistling )

"Here he is! Yeah! That speech last night! Wow!" "Whoa!" "Brought me to tears, you big softy. I especially liked when you referred to us as a family bound by destiny and love." "Yes. That was great." "Okay. Enough. It was the booze talking. In the light of day, you're all still deplorable." "And your day's about to get worse. The Norse had seven sleepers. The Blackfoot, seven stars. As a boy, I heard the legend of the seven bells. All these stories are the same. The village is under threat by flood, by fire, by a night that never ends. A shaman brings his disciples to a sacred cave. He tells them if they can ring the seven magic bells, the village will be saved, and all will be restored just as it was."

"Reggie? Can we get a little less Brothers Grimm and more What the hell does this have to do with us?" Lila Says. "There is a truth to these myths. None of you can deny what's going on around us. All of existence will be gone by the end of the day, but whoever or whatever wove together space and time, they left a way to put things back together if the universe ever faced total annihilation. There is a portal in the universe. I built this hotel around it, and on the other side is the answer." Father carrys on.

"And... we're supposed to, what? Just stroll in there, ring some bells, and fix this sh¡t?" "Sarcasm aside, you are mostly right. Except for the guardian." "What kind of guardian?" Viktor Asks. "Kinda guardian that does this." Diego Said as he showed this fingers. "He had a sword." "It is a force to be reckoned with." "See? Yeah. This is where you lose me." "This is where he loses you? I checked out at the sacred cave." "Why would the builders of this back door need to have a guardian?" "Ah! To protect it from people who want to use it for nefarious means." "Correct, Sloane. So it's gonna take all of us to defeat the thing protecting the bells.." "You're actually buying his crap?" "How is a guardian and bells any crazier than time-traveling briefcases and assassins with cartoon masks?" "Actually, she's got you there."

"I'm in." Ben Says. "Me too. But I think some of us should stay back. Like Lila." Uh... or you can stay, and I can go." "No. This is much bigger than all of us. Nobody can stay back. You, my children, are all that stands between us and oblivion. Are we ready to go?" "Well, I say we vote." "This isn't a democracy. Dad's calling the shots." I'm with Viktor. We vote." "The world is ending, and you want to count hands?" "You're asking us to risk our lives. I think it's only fair you give us time to discuss it. Privately." "Why don't we meet back here in an hour?"

"Agreed...."
