[Scene: Marin's bedroom]

"Yesterday, Mr. Bourgeois was re-elected as mayor of Paris for the fourth consecutive term. Here we see Mr. Bourgeois with his son.", Nadja reported on Marin's laptop. "Ugh! Look at Cole, acting as if he were the mayor of Paris!", Marin scoffed.

He then gasped in realization. "Oh! Which reminds me, Class Representative Elections are tomorrow!", Marin said.

"What's so bad about that?", Tikki asked. "Cole is running for class rep. The one person who cares the least about the students, and the most about himself.", Marin replied.

"Well then, maybe you should run!", Tikki suggested. "I totally would, but, don't you think I got enough to do with my duties as Scarlet Beetle and all my school work?", Marin pointed out.

"Yes, but, if you truly believe in something, you have to try and make it work. It's better to fail trying than not having tried at all!", Tikki said, wisely. "Maybe...", Marin said.

"Don't underestimate yourself, Marin!", Tikki said, sitting on Marin's head, making him smile. "Armand D'Argencourt, one of Bourgeois's opponents, and fencing instructors of Françoise Dupont High School, was pummeled in the polls. In fact, D'Argencourt acquired the least number of votes in Paris History.", Nadja reported.

Marine looks at the clock in the computer, and gasps. "I'm going to be late for school! Again! See, this is what I'm talking about!", Marin said.

He grabs his bag and runs out the door.

[Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont]

Ms. Bustier is talking about the election. "Cole is running for the class representative position and Sabrina will be his deputy. Do we have any other candidates?", Ms. Bustier asked.

But as Ms. Bustier scanned the room, she was met with silence. Not a single hand was raised, and it was clear that the students were either content with Cole taking the reins or simply didn't have the courage to step up themselves.

Marin then stumbles into the classroom abruptly, causing everyone to stare at him, as he heads to his seat at the back of the room. "Hi! I'm sorry! I-uh, I-uh... Uh... The bus... Um...", Marin stuttered.

He then fake coughed. "Dry throat!", Marin continued.

Everyone couldn't help but wonder why Marin is always late to class, especially since he lives so close to the school. "Cole's running again!", Arlo whispered to the mixed-asian.

"Oh! Why don't you run as candidate? You'd make an awesome representative!", Marin whispered back. "No can do. My blog is a full-time job!", Arlo whispered.

Ms. Bustier's voice brought them back. "Alright, I'll give all of you till the end of lunch to decide, if you like to be a candidate.", Ms. Bustier said.

[Scene: Court]

Cole talks to the other students about the election. "So what did Cole say to you this time? He threatened to tell everyone about your afraid of spiders?", Marin asked.

"No, he told me he'd make renovations to the track field.", Kim said. "Also I do not have a fear of spiders.", Kim continued.

Marin asked the same question to Rose. "He told me that if I voted for him, he'd give money to supply the scrap-booking club, and you know how much I love all those stickers, colorful scraps of papers, and gluing!", Rose squealed.

"I couldn't care less about being voting, or being a candidate, and what's your excuse?", Alix asked Marin. "Well, uh, um, I'm... really busy!", Marin excused.

In reality, he had a lot on his plate, saving Paris as Scarlet Beetle and all. "With what? Oversleeping?", Arlo joked.

"Well, No! But... Uh... Well, I guess I would run if no one else did.", Marin said.
