ashton.
..
I cannot believe I am doing this. I feel so dirty walking into this dance with Bryana attached to my arm. I have this horrid feeling in the pit of my stomach, twisting and turning every time I think of Luke. I just want to hold him. I just want to kiss him. Instead I have to deal with sad glances while our dates gab on about whatever it is girls talk about.

"I'm going to the bathroom to freshen up. I'll be back." Bryana says to me with a smile just before placing her bright red lips against my cheek. My nose scrunches up in disgust as she walks away and Luke comes to stand next to me.

"You have - I mean there's lipstick on..." Luke says, pointing to my cheek and I can tell he is wanting to wipe it off himself. I nod and rub off the lipstick as Luke's date walks over. Her name is Cindy and she's the preacher's daughter. And that really should be enough description of how bad a night Luke is already having. Cindy forces one of Luke's arms around her waist and she leans into his side, a little too comfortable for my liking. Just then Bryana walks up and latches back onto my side.

"Are we going to dance or not?" She asks, grinning wildly at Cindy, who is her best friend. The girls nod and laugh before running off with each other to the room where the dance is being held. Luke and I walk together behind the girls, our hands occasionally brushing against each other's. When we reach the dance room Bryana pulls me onto the dance floor and away from Luke. Considering I am a dance virgin, I cautiously place my hands on Bryana's hips as she sways to the beat of the upbeat song.

Caught up in listening to the song, I am taken aback when Bryana pulls my face close to hers. I'm about to push her away when she slams her red-coated lips to mine in a lustful kiss. Immediately I pull away and look into her eyes, seeing the redness around the brown irises.

"Are you high?" I ask her.

"What do you think?" She laughs, trying to pull me back to her for another disgusting kiss. I roll my eyes and push her away before walking off to find Luke. Luckily I find him near the refreshments table, standing by himself as Cindy dances with the town bad boy, Michael. I walk over to him and lean over slightly, my lips barely grazing the curve of his ear.

"What do you say we ditch this lame dance? Go somewhere alone." I mumble as seductively as possible. I watch as Luke raises an eyebrow and grins like a kid in a candy shop before looking at me with scared eyes.

"Come on we'll be okay. No one will even notice we're gone." I smile, pleading with him to get out of here. He complies and we walk out of the dance room and down a long hallway to the staircase. We walk upstairs and into the kids Sunday school classroom. I sit down on the couch in the corner and stare at Luke who is standing timidly by the door.

"Come 'ere baby." I say softly. Luke walks over and sits beside me and I can nearly feel him shaking with fear.

"Ash, I'm not too sure about this."

"Come on, Lukey. No one will find us up here. They're all down there spiking the punch and grinding on each other. And it's not like we're Michael Clifford status. We're not very popular. No one will even notice we're gone."

"If you say so." Luke sighs, "Why did you even want to come up here anyway?"

"Well I just wanted to..." I say pulling Luke into my lap so he's facing me with one leg on either side of my legs, "I just wanted to hold you." Luke's breath catches in his throat and I grin wickedly.

"Th- that's all?" Luke stutters.

"And I wanted to kiss you." I whisper more quietly than I did before. Luke gets off my lap and walks across the room. I sigh and run my hands over my face before following him. I go up behind him and place a hand on his waist before pulling him completely to me. He turns around and looks at me.

"Ashton what if we get caught?" Luke whispers to me, his ocean blue eyes brimming with bittersweet tears.

"Then I'll die for you." I whisper back, pressing my lips finally to his. Luke doesn't hold back anymore as our lips fold together in sweet harmony. I'm sure half of the passion in this kiss is only my lust to feel Luke's lips on mine. The other half is my love. Every ounce of love I feel for the boy in my arms.

Luke's hands move to my hair, pulling me closer to him and I accidentally let out a small moan of pleasure when Luke's fingers tug on my gentle curls. Luke chuckles and I blush only for a moment before taking over dominance. I push Luke against the wall as I run my tongue along Luke's bottom lip. He allows me entrance and I explore his mouth with my own as my hands explore his body. I finally find the hem of the tucked in dress shirt Luke is wearing so I pull it slightly, untucking it, and move my cold hands to Luke's warm skin. Luke shudders at my touch and I can only chuckle.

"You're so cold, Ash." Luke mumbles against my lips.

"That's why you're here right? To warm me up?" I smile as I begin kissing along Luke's jawline down to his neck.

"Luke? Are you up here? Ashton? The dance is over!" My mom yells as she walks up the stairs. Shit shit shit. Luke and I begin scurrying to fix ourselves. Quickly I plop on the couch and Luke sits in a chair to make it look like we're just talking.

"There you boys are. Liz and I were beginning to get worried. What are you two doing?" Mom asks as she walks in the door of the classroom.

"Just talking. Things got boring down there." I say before a stuttering Luke can mutter a word. He nods in agreement before we follow my mom back downstairs to help clean up the mess from the dance. Every few minutes I'll look over to Luke and wink, causing him to blush wildly.

After we finish cleaning up Luke and I walk outside while our moms talk about some new event the church is planning. I walk over to my car and climb in the backseat where Luke follows. I turn so I can face him and also see the door of the church.

"That was quite the party." Luke chuckles, blushing again.

"It was quite the party. And I was thinking we could continue the party here. At least for a few minutes." I say, giving Luke a sly smile. He nods and scoots himself closer to me. Instantly our lips are attached and moving together at a lustful pace.

"You're so perfect you know that?" Luke whispers between kisses.

"I believe that's you baby." I mumble back.

"I don't want to go home alone tonight."

"Then don't go home at all. Come stay at my place." I offer. With one final kiss, Luke nods and we climb out of the car. I get in the front seat while Luke runs inside to ask his mom about staying over. I turn the car on and turn the radio up as some shitty pop song comes on through the speakers. When Luke gets back to the car he climbs into the front seat and laces his hand through mine.

"Homosexual slumber party is a go." He smiles. God, I love this nerd.
