Two weeks. I have suffered two weeks of abuse at school and I swear to god, I can't take it anymore.

"I'm not going to school! I do not want to get beaten again, Ash! I physically and mentally can't handle it. If I get my head shoved into a toilet one more time then I will just let them drown me!" I shout to Ashton. I hate that we're fighting, but I have to stand up for myself.

Ashton is quiet for a few moments before looking at me with red eyes, "I'll go tell mom you're not feeling well." He then leaves the room so I huddle under the blankets again. We haven't really told Mrs. Irwin that we're getting bullied at school. Even if we did, there wouldn't be much she can do about it.

"Better be glad you're cute." Ashton mumbles as he buries his face into the back of my neck. I giggle at the tickling sensation before turning over in the bed and smiling at him.

"Thank you." I whisper before pressing my lips to his. No matter how many times I kiss him, I never get over the feeling. There's not really a way to describe how it feels to kiss him. It's like kissing the galaxy's edge. Adventurous and fascinating. Scary yet electrifying.

Ashton wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me close to him as I deepen the kiss. Our lips explore each others slowly. We're savouring the limited time we have to actually be somewhat intimate before someone comes and ruins it.

"So, since you're 'sick' what do you want to do?" Ashton asks, pulling away from the sweet kiss.

"Honestly, and this is probably corny, I want to have a Disney movie marathon while we cuddle on the couch." I blush.

"Aw, you're blushing!" Ashton squeals, "Of corse we can do that!" Ashton pulls me up from the bed and we run down the stairs to the living room.

"Wait here, I have an idea!" I sit on the couch and wait for Ashton to return. When he does, he drops a pile of sheets on the floor along with a few pillows.

"What exactly are you suggesting?" I ask.

"Fort! We can build a fort around the tv and we can watch movies in our fort!" Ashton smiles excitedly. I chuckle and stand up, ready to build the fort with him. And about twenty minutes later we have the fort set up nearly covering the entire living room.

"Now we need snacks!" Ashton runs into the kitchen and I climb in the fort to scroll through Netflix. I finally decide on watching The Little Mermaid first as Ash crawls into the fort.

"The Little Mermaid okay?" I ask, opening a bag of chips.

"Yes! I love this one." Ashton smiles, propping his feet across my lap and digging into a package of Oreos.

-

"What movie next?" Ashton asks as I crawl into the fort. It's about two in the afternoon now and Ashton and I are on our fourth Disney movie. So far we've watched The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Snow White.

"Peter Pan. The 2003 version." I smile, curling into Ashton's side as he clicks on the movie. Ashton pulls a blanket over us and we get comfortable as the movie begins.

"I wish I could go to neverland." I whisper halfway through the movie.

"Why's that?" Ashton asks.

"Neverland is home to lost boys and lost boys are free." I state.

"By free you mean they're able to be themselves, right?" Ashton asks. I nod silently as Ashton holds me tightly.

"So if you're a lost boy, what am I?"

"You, Ashton, are Peter Pan." I smile, looking up to him to see a wide smile on his face. The smile I fell deeply in love with.

"But, Peter loves Wendy, not a lost boy."

"I think in our case we can make an exception." I chuckle. Ashton shrugs and kisses my nose before we turn back to finish the movie. Well, Ashton turns to finish the movie, I just think.

I really want to do something special for Ashton. Like I want to take him on some romantic date. Something he'll never forget.

I start brainstorming and by the end of the movie I have the perfect date planned.
