ashton.
..
I knew that it wouldn't be the best idea to go in the house, but I couldn't let those psychos hang out in there. I unlock the door quickly, keeping a hand on Luke behind me as we walk in. I don't see anyone at first, that is until Michael has me pinned down on the ground.

"Let me go!" I scream, trying to writhe from his grip, but it only makes him lock down on me more.

"Ashton! Ash!" I hear Luke screaming. My heart breaks at how pained his voice sounds. Michael pulls me up from the floor and leads me over to a bar stool. I sit down and he ties my hands together behind my back. Across from me, about five feet away, is Luke. He's bound just like I am and he's sobbing. All I want to do is reach out to him and hold him.

"What the fuck do you want." I spit towards Michael.

"We're here to make sure you pay for your sins, gay boy." He says, pulling out a knife. He walks over to Luke and takes his hands out of the binds. Only a second later I can see bright red blood dripping down Luke's pale skin. There's large gashes on both his arms from Michael and Calum. Tears fall down his face rapidly as the boys tie his hands back. I watch as they rip Luke's shirt off and begin carving something into his chest.

"Stop! Let him go!" I scream, sobs shaking my body. Luke is screaming in agonising pain as Michael rips his skin. When Michael moves away, I see they've carved 'faggot' into his chest. I cry even harder at the sight. And that's when Michael and Calum walk towards me.

"Let Luke go." I say, trying to sound confident in my order.

"Don't think so. I think we're going to let him watch as we slice open your skin just like we did his." Calum unties my arms and the boys begin slashing their blades across my skin. There's hundreds of gashes over my arms once they've finished. Then Calum pulls my shirt off and helps Michael carve something into my chest.

"Ashy." I hear Luke say softly across the room.

"Yea, baby?" I mumble as Michael throws me onto the ground. Before he can answer, Luke lands right beside me. I feel his weak hand grasp mine and I try so hard to grip his back.

"I love you, Ashton. With everything I have." He says and I sob even harder knowing he's on his last breath.

"Kill them, Calum! Come on!" Michael orders.

"Wait! Can't I just have a minute with him until he's gone?" I ask. Michael shrugs and rolls his eyes. I pull Luke close to me and kiss his soft lips once more just as they turn cold.

"I love you, Lukey." I whisper just as I feel a sharp pain in my head.

Ashton died holding the love of his life. Calum stabbed him in the back of the head just before leaving the scene.

The next morning a neighbour comes to welcome the boys into the complex when she finds their bodies in a pool of blood. An ambulance was called and they got them to a hospital. A couple days later, Mrs. Irwin comes by and identifies her two boys. Mrs. Hemmings doesn't care that her son is dead.

Mrs. Irwin is devastated as she has to plan a joint funeral for the boys. The only people that attend is Ashton's family, Lynsey, Robyn, Damien and Jace.

While the boys died, they died together. They died in each others arms. And the last words they both heard were the other saying I love you.

They're in a better place. Somewhere no one judges them. Some place where they're together forever.
