you and darren had been married for almost 2 years now and you had JUST found out you were pregnant and you decided to tell your husband

"guess what"

"whats up?"

"im pregnant"

"darren, im pregnant!" you say loudly, as he made sure he wasn't crazy and that he was hearing you correctly

"😮" was his exact reaction, because he was in absolute shock

after weeks of talking and discussing the subject, you were finally ACTUALLY pregnant and darren couldnt believe it.

you started crying, tears of joy of course and darren who was in the living room when you had announced this, had come to the kitchen where you were and pulled you into his chest as you cried from happiness

"i cant believe it darren" you said, with a mixture of shock and excitement

"i know beautiful, i know but im so happy were finally gonna be our own little family" he said, calmly as he smiled from the thought of you two running around after a small child

"i love you so much." you tell him before you look up at him and kiss him on the lips, passionately as he kissed back

darren had been a sweetheart all throughout your pregnancy and you were very thankful about it

"you ready to go?" he asked you, as you were eating

"yeah, im still a little nervous though" you responded, as he reassured you that everything would be fine

you two left for your checkup and to find out the gender of your baby

after about 30 to 45 minutes of driving, you finally make it to the doctors office and go inside

you have to wait for a good 10 minutes for them to call you to back, which is actually a good amount of time since you usually have to wait longer than that but there weren't many people there today so you were happy a bit about that but you were still a bit nervous

"y/n baby, im definitely sure everything will go great. you've been eating good, and staying healthy because ive been making sure of it, our baby is fine and youre gonna be fine baby." darren says, once again reassuring your worrying mind as he grabbed your hand and played with it, which calmed you down even more

"y/n l/n?!" a nurse called your name, before you and darren had gotten up and walked back into a room for your checkup

after about 5 minutes of you and darren being in the room by yourselves, the doctor had come in and it was a female doctor
