Chapter 1
On a dark dreary night during the early 1600's, the inhabitants of the future colony of Georgia congregate in the simply built log court house.
"Quiet Quiet. Let this meeting come to order," reigned a large man behind a small than himself podium, "We have all gathered to discuss the recent deadly and brutal murders of local livestock."
"They killed my wife and cow. The fat lump never saw it coming, at least the cow got a running start." Replied a local farmer.
"That's not all," added another, "my pig was drained of all its blood."
"Good lord above us, could they have taken it for witchcraft?"
"I don't know, but it appears to be raining red liquid around some parts because right beside her I found a very large puddle of it. Almost enough to fill a pig."
"By Jove, I had no clue it had reached such monstrosical proportions. Something must be done."
"I'll take care of your little problem."
The voice came from a darks shadow in the corner of the room. With large feathered hat on head and cape round torso, no one was able to distinguish the figure. As he stepped forward into the light, it could be seen that it was none other than their marvelous founder, James Oglethorpe. He threw off his hat revealing a head of luscious, free flowing brown hair.
In a deep and raspy voice, he replied, "I've dealt with a good many creepers in my time. Just got to know how they think."
"Oh my, Mr. Oglethorpe. I... I didn't know you were here." The large man stood blushing.
"That's all powerful grand master wizard to you. And to catch this thing, you got to get in their head, think like they do. Become the creeper yourself. First, you gotta... gotta..."
"BE A GOOFY GOOBER!!!!" Replied a voice from the crowd.
He instantly took the quill from his hat and shot a ball of light into the crowd towards the voice. The room was silent and they all held their breath until the heard a loud thud on the floor: "Owwwww, I needed that ear." The onlookers released a notable sigh.
"All joking aside, I can catch this... thing of yours. For a considerable price of course," remarked James.
"Oh of course, anything for you Jamie, I can give you anything you want. And I do mean, anything," replied the Judge.
With all the blood running from his face, he replied, "Uhhh, *cough cough* that won't be necessary. According to my research, it seems as though this thing is quite dangerous and would destroy this town if not stopped. Therefore I believe 78,000 money coins is fair enough payment."
The crowd bustled with anger and confusion.
"I'm sorry Mr. Oglethorpe, but I don't think the entire town combined has that many money coins. You must be a little more lenient for us."
"Fine, just because you amuse me, my final offer is 77,999 money coins, and not a single monies less."
"But Mr..."
"So be it, I'll enjoy watching this town burn in the blood of its citizens."
As he opened the large wooden door and headed out, the man shouted, "Wait. Fine, we'll pay you. Anything to keep this town safe."
As he heard this, he looked back, gave a smirk, and walked out into the town. They heard him yell back, "You'll have your man by the end of the month."
Chapter 2
As the sun filled the newly settled sky, James was fresh on the case. He had investigated the muddy areas of the town... so the entire town, and questioned those who had witnessed these grizzly attacks.
