Nunew told Nat the news.
"So, what did the test say?"
"I'm pregnant..."
"Oh my God, I'm so happy for you and Zee!"
Nat hugged Nu. But Nunew didn't express his greatest worry: how would Zee react?
When Nat left, panic set into Nu's mind. He was worried that Zee wouldn't appreciate him being pregnant. Or worse, force him to remove the baby. These thoughts raced through Nu's head.
*8:00 PM*
It was time for Zee to come home from work. Nu was scared so he decided to text Zee to meet him in their bedroom.
Zee got the text and came to the bedroom.
"Nu."
"Yes Hia?"
"Can I take a shower first?"
"You may Hia."
Zee then went to the shower and Nu rushed over to the nightstand drawer and took out the pregnancy test. He held it shakely. He was so nervous. A few minutes later Zee went out of the bathroom with his pajamas.
"What did you want to tell me?"
"Hia... Do you want a family?
Zee stayed silent. This scared Nu.
"Well do you want one?"
Nu showed Zee the test. It had two lines.
"I'm pregnant Hia."
"What do you think about it?"
"What?"
"You don't want a baby? You want to leave me?" Nu said in tears.
Hia hugged Nu.
"Nu. I want a family with you. Being pregnant won't stop me from loving you."
Nu smiled at Zee and hugged him.
"I love you Hia."
"I love you too Nu."
Zee kissed Nunew and went down to his belly.
"Hi baby. This is Daddy. I love you so much."
Nu felt tears well up in his eyes. Zee looked at him.
"Let's go to sleep."
So Nu and Zee went to sleep. Nu slept first but Zee was still awake.
"I love you Nu. I love you baby."
