*Nu's Pregnancy: 4 months
*A month later*
Nunew was walking around the house trying to find the pregnancy book that the doctor gave him and Zee. After a few minutes, he couldn't find the book. So he went to bed and decided to take a nap to relax. Just as he was starting to close his eyes, he felt something...
*On Zee's side*
Zee was starting to cook lunch for him and Nunew (Nunew's having more strange cravings) when he heard...
"HIA!!!!!"
Zee, being the kind and loyal husband that he is, (Me: Of course he is. Why can't I have that kind of man in my life?😭) immediately rushed to see what happened. He was worried that something happened to Nu or the baby.
"Nu! What happened?! Are you ok?! Is the baby ok?!"
Zee was spitting out questions from the moment Nu yelled for him.
Nu just looked at Zee calmly, which confused Zee a bit. Then Nu said,
"The baby just kicked."
Zee gasped softly with tears of joy in his eyes. His hands immediately went towards Nu's stomach and gently caressed it. Zee then immediately ran for the pregnancy book that he had in the kitchen. He then opened it to a certain page about the fourth month of pregnancy. Zee then laid his head on Nu's stomach and said,
"Hi baby, this is Daddy."
With those words, Zee felt a kick. A small, gentle kick. Nu's eyes started filling up with tears of joy at Zee's actions. Nu's hand rubbed Zee's head softly.
*A few minutes later*
Zee then got up with Nu in hand and they went to the dining room to have lunch. Zee then remembered Nu's morning sickness and was basically keeping an eye on him to see if he was going to go to the bathroom to vomit. Seeing Zee look at Nu made Nu blush.
"Hia, I'm okay. you don't need to keep staring at me."
"I just want to make sure that you're okay, or if you suddenly have morning sickness."
"Hia, I think I don't have morning sickness anymore."
"Thankfully, we're going to the doctor next month to check on the baby. You can tell the doctor about your morning sickness leaving.
"Hia, I've been thinking..."
"What is it, Nu?"
"You can go back to work if you want to."
"But, I want to make sure that you and the baby are okay."
"Don't worry Hia, I'll have Nat, Yim, and my mother keeping an eye on me. And I'll call you if anything happens."
Zee then hugs Nu feeling a sense of comfort.
"Nu?"
"Yeah, Hia?"
"What gender do you think our baby will be?"
