Aarohi placed the ghunghat on Akshara's head, pinning it in place. She smiled at her sister, meeting her gaze in the mirror.

Akshara looked nothing short of an angel, looking regal in her simple yet gorgeous red saree.

Everyone tried to convince her to buy a lehenga but Akshara was stubborn. While everyone worried it was to save money, Akshara had other plans.

She wanted to wear this saree again and again. She didn't want her wedding attire to be a one time use designer piece. She wanted to relish the feeling of being Abhinav's bride every now and then.

The saree was rich yet elegant for wearing it to pujas and other family functions.

She wanted to cherish this memory.

Abhir popped up by the two sisters. "Mumma, Papa toh aapko dekh kar flat hogayenge!"

"Chup kar! Kuch bhi bolta hain." Akshara blushed slightly.

That was another reason she chose a saree. She wanted to see the same expression on Abhinav's face whenever she wore her wedding saree.

"Sahi kaha Abhir, Abhinav-ji toh tujhe dekthe hi reh jayenge."

"Aaru tu bhi?"

"Maasi, aap bohot pretty lag rahe ho. Bilkul princess ki tarah."

Akshara was touched. "Ole, thank you meri Princess Rooh!" And kissed the little girl's cheek.

"Aaru, Akshu ready hogayi kya?" Kairav walked in, fixing his watch.

"Bhaiya mujhe aap se puchna chahiye, aapki bhi shaadi ho rahi hain aaj."

Kairav placed his hands on her shoulder. "Phele meri behen ko vidah kardoon, phir tu apni bhabhi ka ghar pravesh kar lena.

Akshara smiled as Aarohi touched the corner of her kajal and touched the back of Akshara's ear.

Suddenly they heard loud music, drums thundering in the quiet hills of Kasauli.

Abhir and Ruhi clapped their hands excitdly, whispering amongst themselves.

"Oi baccha party, tumhe iske baare mein kuch pata hain?"

The kids answered by dragging the siblings to the front door.

Everyone was gathered out the door, Abhir and Ruhi rushing forward. Abhir looked back and grinned. "Mere Papa ki baarat aagayi hai!"

The Goenka siblings stood stunned as the entire family, including Surekha, were dancing to the beat around Abhinav, the man standing in a dazzling white sherwani and pagdi.

"Sorry ji, ghode pe nahi aa paya." He said sheepishly.
