hello it's been some time and i'm having notes and shit about this chapter but i wanted to make it into a few chapters. i don't like me a long ass one chapter😭 but no worries i'm still writing and will post today. also sorry for any mistakes correct me if i'm wrong anywhere

It was late night and they were watching some comedy while eating some shitty pizza from the shop around the corner. They haven't left the house for some time since there was nothing to do really. Winter this year was awful, and the weather was horrible.

You could barely go out sometimes, like really the snow was horrendous, and the wind? You could freeze your ass off out there. Not even talking about ice that was on roads, sidewalks literally everywhere and you could see people slipping on it which was funny until it happened to you.

But tonight was actually really nice, the snow started to melt since it started to rain. If you'd go outside  you could feel the breeze on your face, but it was fresh and nice to feel. Not a cold one that would make you have chills on your entire body.

When Soap tried to cuddle more with Ghost he moved away from him and stood up slowly stretching his back. - Want some tea sweetheart? - he asked as he walked to the kitchen.

- No, thank ya. - he replied as he got more comfortable on the couch since Simon took most of the place on it. Not that he was fat or anything, but he was a really big and I'm talking about BIG boy.

- Alright as you wish.

Simon put water in the kettle, and grabbed his favorite tea he turned around to his partner and smiled. He thought about how his lover was literally flawless, and looked so innocent when he was just lying down on that couch watching something and probably thinking about what to draw in his sketchbook.

John was usually lost in his mind. When you'd ask him what he's thinking about he's probably gonna look confused like he woke up from a coma or he will say that he has another ominous idea for his new painting.

Ghost laughed to himself thinking about it. It's not because Johnny's art was awful, you know it was odd, but in it's own way kinda it was kind of charming. He had a weird style, he never really tried to paint any realistic shit besides sketching people or nature from time to time.

But it was different for his lover Simon. He never really wanted to paint for people their portraits when they were in school, or just simply draw anyone. Especially when they wanted it for free.

His boyfriend was actually a different breed, he was special for him and drawing him or painting wouldn't make him anxious nor he didn't feel any pressure that someone will say it doesn't look like they imagined it or whatever.

He just never felt judged by him to be honest and that's why Simon loved every minute of just sitting in one place or posing for hours just for his boyfriend so that he could catch it in a piece of paper or on canvas so they could hang it on the wall later.

While thinking about it the kettle whistled and he started to make himself a nice cup of tea. After pouring hot water into the cup that he got from Soap that had a writing on it saying "The Best BF in the world" which was kind of embarrassing but also lovely, he went back on the couch.

- Bloody hell, I'm bored let's do something. - said Soap as he made some place for Ghost to sit and sighed.

- Ya mean something something? - he smirked. Soap gave him a side eye.
- Just kiddin, you wanna go somewhere? - he asked as Soap nodded as an answer.

Soap laughed it off and turned off TV, stand in front of the Ghost and tried to pin him down, which he failed since he's shorter than him and that looked kind of silly.

- So we're going on a date or just bar typa thing? - he asked as he looked into Johnny's eyes.

The tension was there, but it fly away really fast. They really needed a break from sex. They needed to just go on a date and talk about some crap. Take a walk at the park, watch the sky or just drink beer in the local bar and meet with friends.

- I was thinking about a date, but even if it's not that cold and snow is melting it's not the time I would like to freeze in the park or whenever, and I'm not that hungry to go to a restaurant to be honest. - John said as he pushed himself away from Ghost and went to the kitchen.

He called cats for their dinner time, and looked at Ghost that was already thinking where they could go.

- Maybe let's go to the local bar, grab some drink maybe we'll meet someone from the task force and have a lil chit chat, hm? - he said as he turned his head to look what his lover is doing.

- Yeah that sounds nice, I'll just take a shower and then we can go. - he said smiling watching their cats eating their food like they've never eaten anything so good before. He kissed them both on their tiny little heads and went straight to the shower.

Ghost on the other side just went to pick up some outfit to wear, casually black jeans and that jacket that he got as a present from his boyfriend for christmas. Since he's been with Soap he's becoming less and less insecure, sometimes he still wears mask when he's anxious or uncofomortable, but his partnet understands it and doesn't really mind it.

That's not a date so they wouldn't wear suits or whatever so they both wore some casual fits. Soap after getting out of the shower picked up some grey loose jeans and black tucked in tshirt with a really big jacket over it. He looked funny, but at least he was warm.

Simon doesn't really care about the weather, but when it comes to winter it's a hell for him. He hates putting on gloves, scarfs or jacket or whatever to make you stay warm. It kind of reminds him of the task force, all the heavy stuff he had to wear, the guns that he had to carry all the time, the amount of people he killed. It was needed to be done, but he doesn't feel right with it. Of course he's done it for people's safety, but when it comes to the past he really overthinks it and sometimes he won't say a word to Soap because of it.

But he understands the situation here. He was there too right? He saw a lot of horrible things there and he also struggles with it, but sketching helps him to get away from thinking of all those things that happened back there. Ghost can't find a hobby that'll keep him from his thoughts.

He gets very bored after doing something new or just give up, because what's the point right?

Anyway as they got ready and Soap was putting up his shoes Ghost already opened the door for him and waited till his partner was done.

- Hell, hurry up we're gonna miss the big game that starts soon. - he said like he was just offended by someoe.

- Ight, ight take it easy. - replied John finally tying up his left shoe and stood in front of the door to say goodbye to the kitties. Cats meowed and came to their owners so they could be pat, and both of men petted them and said goodbye.
