They had now been in Egypt for ten days and so now they had to go home. Josh wasn't going home right away so It was a horrible goodbye. They may never see each other again. She was so upset that she barely touched her peanut butter bar whereas normally she'd shove it in her mouth before the plane even started but today she just nibbled at it . In the back of her mind she couldn't help thinking that somehow they would see each other again before she even knew it.
The plane journey felt like it lasted forever when normally it would take five and three quarters of an hour. All through the journey she couldn't stop thinking that she would never see him again. Little did she know she was completely and utterly wrong.
Before long they had landed, but Maria felt like it had been a full five and 3/4 days but only it had been that in hours. The drive was a long one for Maria and when they got to the new house she got out the car and trudged to the front door. She asked her mother dully where her room was and her mother replied 'Follow me and you will see'.
'Your a poet and you just don't know it' Her father chirped in.
'Ha-ha' Her mother laughed. Maria just stared at her father blankly. He was such a clown sometimes. he was such a impractical joker and she felt annoyed with him sometimes. Sometimes not always though.
Several days later a car pulled up outside. She always checked. But this time she was in for a huge surprise. This time she could not believe who it was. It was the love of life. It was Jake.
She rushed out the front door and to the car that was next door. There was Jake smiling.
"Jake this is not funny"
