work has been so stressful lately, so i'm really glad that mason and i took two weeks off to visit london. we aren't posting about it or anything until we get home, so we can minimise being spotted. as much as i love working in america, it's nice to be back home on british soil, even if it is only for a little while.

now, since i've been to london many times i was alright with just walking around the busy city for the two weeks. mason however has never been to london ever, so he was pretty excited to do all the touristy type things. the london eye, the london dungeons, the whole shebang. and who was i to say no?

we arrived on the friday at around noon so we unpacked and took the tube (which mason found incredible despite how loud and busy it was) straight down to green park, walked through to piccadilly circus for dinner at the hard rock cafe. it was sweet how excited mason got at the different sights and shops that we passed. on the way back we stopped in the waterstones on piccadilly street before taking the tube back.

the first week flew by; we spent a full day shopping in leicester square, another day in waterloo where we walked around the market stands before shitting bricks in the london dungeons and sharing cute little moments on the london eye despite the 18 other people in the cart. we even spent another day going through all the different museums (which was the day that mason started to hate the tube a little bit).

"oh my god, today was so good." mason said chucking his coat on the bed and sitting on the edge to take his shoes off. i sat next to him and moved his head towards me to kiss him sweetly.

we shared a gaze for a moment and that was when i decided i could look into his eyes forever. i could never hate him, never forget him, never not love him.

"i'm so glad we're here, thank you for being here with me." he smiled and pulled his arms around me and kissed my neck softly before laying his head on my shoulder.

"thank you for bringing me, i'm so tired but i've never has this much fun walking everywhere before." i laughed at him before taking off my own shoes.

the second week was perfect in contrast to the busy week of walking that had just finished. instead of roaming around and shopping everywhere, mason and i decided to instead buy everything we'd need for a picnic and sat by the river at st. james' park, which was only one tube stop from our hotel. we must have stayed there for hours, just talking and enjoying our time together, not to mention we took a load of cute photos during our stay.

when the end of our trip came around, we were glad we took a sliver of time out of our busy schedules to make time for each other. we both knew we'd be going back to london very very soon.

i hated this chapter for a while but came back to it and now i love it

recently went back to london so this felt appropriate, if you've never been i recommend going and doing everything i've waffled on about and deffo go see a musical if you're interested in them because they hit so different in the apollo theatre
