i finally pulled myself out of bed after hitting snooze at least three times on my alarm. i'm supposed to be going out for lunch with some friends but i'm sure i'm gonna be late at this point.

i stayed at mason's last night so everything i need is in my bag downstairs. i crack open his bedroom door that creaks loudly but i check behind me to see mason still snoring in his bed, not moving a muscle. it takes most of me to not check he's dead or something. i smile at how cute he is and make my way down the stairs.

i grab my backpack from the kitchen table and go back up the stairs, grabbing my airpods from the front pocket and connecting them before opening my getting ready playlist on spotify. i dig through my bag for my makeup pouch but i can't find it anywhere. i pull out the whole contents of the bag before realising i know where it is.

on my bed.

in my house.

fuck.

i literally set a reminder on my phone to remember to bring it with me because i knew i'd forget something. of course it had to be my makeup bag, right before i'm about to go out.

my panicked frenzy means i don't hear the rustling of the sheets behind me as mason gets up out of bed and appears behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "morning gorgeous." he places a kiss to my neck lovingly. "you okay?"

"no," i sigh. "i left my makeup at home and i'm supposed to leave in like fifteen minutes." i through my hands in the air before turning around to place a good morning kiss to his cheek. mason just smiles at me. "what?" i laugh softly.

"nothing baby," he starts before brushing some of my hair back behind my ear. (does he want me to have a heart attack?) "you know you don't need makeup right?" he asks. and i try to protect but he spins me back around and faces my body to the mirror on his wardrobe door. "look how beautiful you are baby. you don't need makeup or anything. no one does it like you you babe."

my heart melts. he's such a sweetheart. he acts all tough and shit but he's the most caring boy i've ever met. "thank you baby, i'm just stressed." i reply.

mason could tell it was still getting to me so he added "if you really want to, i'm pretty sure you and brooke (a/n: our queen) are about the same shade in everything. but you definable don't need it babe." he kisses my nose sweetly before going to brush his teeth.

i smile as i pull on the clothes i picked out to wear yesterday before i left my makeup bag on my bed and rushed out the door. i do not deserve this man.

i shout goodbye and i love you to mason before rushing down to my car: i'm already a few minutes late. i look at my bare face in the mirror before smiling and starting the engine.

thank you so so so so so so so much for all of your love support and patience with this book. the fact that most of you have stuck around since the beginning is crazy. thank you for everything i would've given up ages ago if it wasn't for you guys i couldn't have done it without you. ive gained so many friends from this book who are such genuine people so thank you for restoring my faith in humanity too<3

i know some people only read my mason imagines and not my walker ones so to those of you thank you for sticking around i hope to talk to you guys soon i'm gonna miss you!! thanks for all your love and patience for my slow updates and messy writing schedule you're real ones fr xx

for anyone who reads my other book(s) i've decided to not have a writing schedule anymore purely because i have one of the most important academic years of my life ahead of me as well as dance and acting and everything so thank you for your understanding i'll always keep you updated when a chapter is posted or when a new book will be out!!!

i'd also like to say that even though i'm no longer writing for this book i don't give anyone permission to "repost" or copy and paste my stories basically without asking me first and giving me proper credit if i do agree. these works are still mine!!

once again thank you to you guys it wouldn't be possible without you. there has been times i've been replying to you and i've cackled and LITERALLY ROLLED ABOUT MY FLOOR because of how funny you all are. i love you all endlessly!!!
