even though it's only been just over a week, i've loved travelling with mason to come see him on set for how to train your dragon. i'm so proud of him, and tagging along was the best decision i've ever made.

i laid on the sofa bed on my phone when i heard a knock on mason's trailer door. "come in." i yelled, looking up from tiktok to see mason walk in. i smile at his dishevelled curls and tired eyes. "good day?" i ask as i get up to meet him.

mason kisses me softly with a smile before pulling me into a hug, curling his arms around my waist as mine go around his neck. his face hides in the crook of my neck and mine does the same. "very good day, very fucking tired." he groans with a chuckle at the end.

i pull away to look at him, just looking in each other's eyes for a while, before i lean in and peck him on his lips. "why don't we get in bed and watch a movie? might help you relax." when mason smiles and nods for me to continue. "you take a shower and i'll run down to the main building and get some snacks from a vending machine. sound good?"

"sounds perfect." mason kisses my forehead briefly before yawning. "thank you baby." all i can do is smile up at him before shoving him over to the bathroom. "hey careful, that hurt." he says as he starts to take his hoodie off.

"yeah, well you stink, sooo..." i shrug before i get said hoodie thrown at my face. i grab my purse and put the hoodie on; i yell "i'll be back in ten!" through the bathroom door, hoping mason can hear me over the running water before leaving the trailer.

i regret walking all the way to the vending machine in shorts as the crisp evening air bites at my exposed calves, but i get us some m&ms, two pepsis and a couple bags of crisps (chips if you're american) before speed-walking back to the trailer. i get up the steps before knocking. "mase! are you decent?" i shout through the door.

"yeah! come in!" i hear before pulling out the handle and quickly getting back inside, desperate to escape the cold. i see mason has pulled the bed out from under the sofa and place the snacks on the table beside the makeshift bed. "are you excited for our all nighter?" he asks.

i pick my head up to look at him, "all nighter? mase you just got in from a 13 hour filming day."

he only smirks: "and i have a free day tomorrow, it's perfect!" i just shake my head at him. he's such an idiot.

we climb into bed and mason puts an arm around me as i lay on his chest. i open the bag of m&ms while mason flicks through netflix in search of what to watch. after about ten minutes, the m&ms are almost gone but then mason suggests "why don't we just keep watching shameless?" and so that's what we decide on.

throughout the first episode, i keep catching mason yawning and then trying to hide it as i play with his curls. i try to tell him that he can go to sleep but he just replies "nah babe, an all nighter requires you to be awake."

he's passed out by the next episode.

i smile at him, seeing him in a state of such peace makes me calm. i take a photo of him and make it my streaks (even though i know he'll be mad) before turning my phone off and dropping it on the bed beside me. my eyes start to get heavy and before i know it, i've fallen asleep playing with his hair.

when i wake up the next morning i groggily rub my eyes before following the hands that rest on my waist up to masons face. i gently stroke his cheek before looking at the arm i can't move, realising this is the hand i used to pull at mason's hair before we fell asleep.

i tug and play with his hair again, softly so as not to wake him up. laying here, i realise how lucky i am to have this boy in my life. and how i never want anyone else.
