"Furthermore, [Name]... I am granting you the qualifications necessary to attend school at Night Raven College!" Crowley cheerfully announced.
"WHAAAAAAT?!"
[Name], who had been zoning out halfway through Crowley's speech snapped back to reality. "Wait- what? Why am I a student now?" [Name] said, their distorted voice warped with confusion.

"Of course. This is extraordinarily kind of me. However, there is one condition. Your inability to use magic is, for a mage, unacceptable. You would not be able to adequately pursue the school's curriculum! As for you, Grim... Your actions today have made it clear that you possess sufficient talent to become a mage. In light of the total sum of your respective circumstances, you and [Name] will share a single enrollment at Night Raven College." Crowley said.

"Myah! I... I'll get to go to this school...? As an actual student? Not a janitor?!" Grim said surprised. "Correct. However! There must be no further incidents like the one that occurred today. Are we clear?" Crowley said. "Myah... Myah... [Name], I... I finally..." Grim was nearly on the verge of tears for joy. [Name] simply did their best to smile, which ended looking a little creepy.

"MYAAAAAAAAAAAH! I FINALLY DID IT!" Grim cheered happily. "Accordingly, I will now present to Grim the magestone that is issued to every student here." Crowley said, using magic to summon a necklace version of a magestone around Grim's neck. "Heh! A magestone, eh?!" Grim said, surprised. "It is typically attached to the "magic pen" that each student uses. But I suspect your paws cannot handle implements. Therefore, I have a custom solution for you. Is it possible that I am, in fact, too kind?" Crowley said proudly of himself.

[Name] snorted in half agreement. "Ah, sweet! I look awesome! A magestone collar, to be worn only by the legendary archmage, Grim!" Grim said happily, completely ignoring Crowley. "You're not listening to anything I say, are you? [Name]. As you can plainly see, Grim remains oblivious to the customs of human society. You are to keep a tight rein on Grim, and ensure there are no further incidents!" Crowley ordered, hoping [Name] has some decency themselves due to their humanoid appearance.

"Wow, that's quite the promotion. From janitor to student to prefect, all in the span of a day." Ace said. "Oh, I see. So if your dorm is just you two... And the Headmage is putting you in charge of Grim, that makes you... the dorm prefect." Deuce said, using all of his single braincell power to come to that answer. "Well, that's gotta be a Night Raven first! A monster, magic-less prefect? But sure, why not? Whatever works!" Ace said casually.

"I'm not sure what it means, but I'll do my best!" [Name] said. Their enthusiasm sounding a little more clear compared to what their distorted voice normally sounds like. "Heh heh heh. Good luck to you, Monster Magic-less Prefect!" Ace said. "Ah. Yes. I suppose that does make you a prefect. I just so happen to have a job for yo--" Crowley was cut off when [Name] teleported away upon hearing the word "job".

Crowley, Ace, Deuce, and Grim just stood their silently for a few seconds. "Myaah?! Where'd [Name] go?" Grim said, still very much startled with [Name]'s ability to teleport. "Hm. It seems [Name] has some sort of teleportation magic." Crowley said, thinking. "Ah. Trappola, Spade, if you ever happen to come across [Name] again, give them this." Crowley took out an old looking camera from his desk, and handed it to Deuce.

"This is called a ghost camera." Crowley said. "Ooh, my grandma's told me about those. Those are, like, super old magic items, right?" Ace said, staring at the old camera in Deuce's hands. "I would hardly consider them "super old..." Ahem. But it may indeed have been invented when your great, or great-great-grandmother was a child. It's a camera enchanted with a special kind of magic. It enables the user to photograph not just the subject's physical form, but parts of their soul itself." Crowley explained.

"Wait, that sounds... sketchy." Deuce said, feeling a bit weirded out. "They're called Memories." Crowley said.

~Location: Somewhere On Campus, Time: Nighttime ~ POV: [Name]'s Sleeveless Ceremonial Robes - Third Person ~

[Name] ended up teleporting back to Mainstreet, and looked up at the Seven Statues there. [Name] then looked down at the sleeveless Ceremonial Robes they were still wearing. If [Name] had any eyebrows, they'd be furrowed right now because they do not like wearing these... "clothes". [Name] started to use their long, sharp claws to tear off the rest of their Ceremonial Robes, leaving it all torn up on the ground. [Name] felt like they could finally feel at least somewhat relaxed without all that odd feeling of pressure on their body.

[Name] then started to explore the campus. The moonlight lighting up the path, though their night vision was just fine. [Name] ended up in the Mirror Chamber and looked through the name's of each dorm and their corresponding mirrors. "Heartslabyul" looked the most appealing tonight. [Name] walked through the mirror, and was immediately greeted with an interesting look castle, and on the sides were rose-shaped bushes with red roses on them.

[Name] started to wander around the Rose Maze, fascinated by the scent of the roses. [Name] stopped by to sniff every rose, but eventually even that got a little boring, so [Name] continued their way through the Rose Maze. After some time, [Name] found a lone little hedgehog wandering around as well, and they approached the strange spiky creature.

[Name] crouched down, and sniffed the hedgehog, but winced when they were slightly poked by the hedgehog's spiky back. [Name] stood up to their full height, but then quickly teleported a few distance away when the bushes in front of them startled to rustle. As [Name] watched from afar, a very short red headed boy came out of the bush disheveled, and bended down to scoop up the hedgehog before walking off.

The red headed boy did not notice the 9ft tall potential basketball player figure standing just a hedge away from him, and the hedgehog. He seemed to be angrily muttering something to himself about people not taking Dorm Rules seriously enough as he took the hedgehog with him.

[Name] felt like they were done exploring this.. "Heartslabyul", and teleported in front of Ramshackle. [Name] then teleported inside Ramshackle, up to the room they shared with Grim. Grim was already there, sleeping. "Zzz... myah!.. I'm gonna be the best mage.. best mage.. best.. zzz." Grim sleep-talked a lot.

[Name] curled up on the bed beside Grim, yawned, then fell asleep.
