It was daytime and everyone was sleeping... except for a certain hybrid. Clawdeen was under her blanket shaking
* FLASH, CRACK*
Clawdeen hugged her pillow, she was scared of the thunder, It was terrifying to her. Clawdeen tried to ignore it and go back to bed
* FLASH, CRACK*
her eyes widened in fear, claws ripped the sheets
* FLASH, CRACK*
tears were in her eyes, she slowly pulled the blanket off and looked at Draculaura and Frankie sleeping peacefully
* FLASH, CRACK*
Clawdeen yelped and threw the blanket over her again
*CRACK*
she started to cry a bit, soon the thunder stopped... was it over? Clawdeen forced herself to remove the blanket and look out of the window
* FLASH, CRACK*
tears rolled down her face as she hugged her pillow tighter. meanwhile Frankie groaned as they heard the storm. they tried to ignore the noise, but then heard crying. alarmed they sat up and saw Clawdeen hugging her pillow and silently crying
Frankie: Clawdeen?
Clawdeen didn't hear them
Frankie got up and walked over to Clawdeen and put a hand on their shoulder. Clawdeen yelped in fear
Frankie: Hey! It's Me! It's Frankie!
Clawdeen opened her teary eyes and saw Frankie standing over her with a worried expression
* FLASH, CRACK*
Clawdeen shut her eyes again sobbing
Frankie: shh, It's okay little sister, It's not going to hurt you, It's just thunder
Clawdeen: I-I know... but It's scary... I know I'm just being a puppy
Frankie: I guess the thunder can be scary sometimes, but It's okay! I'm here... want a hug?
Clawdeen hesitated before jumping into Frankie's arms, crying into their shoulder
Frankie: your allowed to be afraid about anything, we might not think thunder is a big deal, but if it scares you, then it scares you, but It's all going to be okay, shh
Clawdeen: I'm sorry...
Frankie: you have nothing to be sorry for...
Clawdeen: but I'm being a pu-
Frankie: Clawdeen Please! I'm Scared Of Flying!
Clawdeen: what?
Frankie: well, yeah. you're not the only one with a weird fear, I'm scared of airplanes
Clawdeen: why?
Frankie: like you with thunderstorms, I hate the noise, makes me really nervous
Clawdeen just sniffled and wiped her eyes
Frankie: I promise, me and Draculaura are right here, and we won't let anything bad happen to you I promise
* FLASH, CRACK*
Clawdeen didn't flinch but her eyes still had some fear in them
Frankie: zaps Clawdeen! you didn't even flinch that time!
Clawdeen: oh, guess I didn't! it wasn't scary that time
Frankie: see there Is nothing to be afraid of
Clawdeen thought for a second before hugging Frankie tightly
Clawdeen: I love you big sister
Frankie: I love you too Little sister
Clawdeen: can... I sleep with you?
Frankie: aww, come on then
Frankie walked Clawdeen over to their bed and both of them laid down. Frankie covered them both up
Clawdeen: good-fright, love you Frank!
Frankie: love you to Clawdeen
as they began to drift off to sleep, Clawdeen realized that the storm wasn't so bad, as long as she was with her big sister. she smiled before closing her eyes and going to sleep
