"I need the labs for the patient in room 231 please" I asked politely to the people at the desk. "Alright give me two minutes and I'll get them" I nodded "Hey George how's your day going?" I asked shifting so he couldn't see my hands "It's amazing I get to keep people alive" he said walking towards me "And it seems to be going better than yours" he said noticing my hand "Don't worry about me Georgie just run the code team and save lives" I said picking up the labs for my patient "See ya later" I said walking towards the stairs.
Just as I reached the patients room my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID. Just as i thought my day couldn't get any worse "Hey Mom" I said turing away for room 231 "There's my gorgeous girl" she said hiccuping "Mom what the fuck, are you drunk" I asked getting angry "Nooo, did my boy make it there ok?" "Yeah no thanks to you, what do you think your playing at sending him on his own all the way here?" I heard my Mom drop her glass "Now listen here you ungrateful Girl, I raised you better than to talk to me like I'm something off the bottom of your shoe, pack it in before I come down and make your regret ever even living" she hang up and slammed my phone down on the desk "You ok?" Meredith asked looking at me. I stared at her and walked into my patients room.
I was sat typing up patient files when I heard the door open and close "What are you still doing here? Your shift ended like right now" Bailey said sitting on the chair next to me "I'm just leaving" I said turning off the computer "Have a nice evening Dr. Bailey" I said clocking out "Fine George and Izzy you can move in" Meredith said to the two people who are now bouncing and screaming. I shook my head at the loud noise and smiled as I saw Callie walk towards me

And I chose to cross that line. I waved at the Resident and picked up my bag "I got red" She said showing me her bag "And I got the white at mine" I said laughing at something she had just said "I'll drive come on" I said leading her to my car "Thanks" she said buckling her seatbelt in the passenger side "Let's get this show, ah" she said remembering "I'll drive your hand" she said getting out "Come on chop chop" I smiled and walked round "You know I really could've driven us" I said directing her "Don't be silly, you could have destroyed your career today, now shove off and tell me where you live, you've had a bad day"
"Welcome to my humble abode" I said hanging my coat on the coat rack "Robert get ready for bed" I said pocking my head into the living room "Please" I said smiling "Yeah, the pizzas in the fridge" he said hugging me "Go on bud" I said kissing the top of his head "Go watch the TV in my room for a little, oh and school start next week" I said shouting up to him "Who was that?" Callie asked "My little brother" I said holding two wine glasses in my hand "You ready for this?" I asked leading her into the living room where the liquor cabinet was "As I'll ever be" she said smiling at me "Good"
