Y/n's pov
as i'm sound asleep i hear a loud Airhorn outside and quickly put a hoodie over my top and a small pair of comfy shorts on to go and see what's going on before i hear Leshawna shouting. "It's seven in the morning! Do I look like a farmer to you?" Leshawna shouts at Chris, "Morning! Hope you slept well" Chris saying with a grin as i notice Gwen waddling over to me looking just as tired as i am. "I hope you're all ready because your next challenge begins in exactly one minute" Chris says before owen chimes in "Oh excuse me, I don't know if that's enough time to eat breakfast" "Oh, you'll get breakfast Owen, right after you complete your twenty kilometers run around the lake!" Chris smiles "Oh, so you're funny now? You know what I think would be funny?-" Eva says before being cut off by Courtney, "Eva! Try to control your temper?" She hushed, "You're enjoying this, aren't you?!" i state with my tired eyes looking up at chris, "A little" he grins, "You have thirty seconds" Chris adds as i go sit on a bench and place my head down on the table, ready to continue sleeping, fuck that challenge at this time in the morning. "Come on sleeping beauty, get up" someone says but i can tell by the voice it was Duncan and i ignore him, before i feel his arm wrap around me and pick me up, tossing me over his shoulder. "Hey! i'm not doing this!" i yell hitting his back. "yeah i gathered that, so i'll just carry you because we can't afford to loose another challenge" he says as i stay silent, before climbing onto his back and legs around his torso as he hold my arms up by his neck, "Okay, runners! On your marks, get set, go!" Chris yells as Duncan starts running but within minutes i fall asleep, I wake up to Duncan dropping me on the ground. "hey!" i say sitting up and scratching the back of my head, "you slept through the whole challenge!" he laughs as i stand up, "Whoa there! Hold your horses guys, that wasn't the challenge!" Chris says as Duncan's eyes widen, "What did he just say?" Gwen says, "Who's hungry?!" Chris adds before revealing a buffet, oh that looks so good, especially after a week of brown sludge. we all quickly dive towards the food and start eating.
{about half an hour later}
"Okay, campers! Time for part two of your challenge!" Chris says over the megaphone as i groan, sitting down next to a filled up Gwen, who appeared to be feeling just as ill as me, i lean up against her for support and feel her lean back, "I thought eating was the second part" Owen says with a bit of food dribbling down his double chin, "What more do you want from us?" Gwen adds sounding sick, "Weird goth girl is right. Haven't we been through enough?" Heather says and i glare at her for the nickname to Gwen, "Um... Let me think about that... No! It's time for The Awake-a-thon!" Chris shouts through the megaphone, "The what-a-thon?" "Don't worry! This is an easy one! The team with the last camper standing wins invincibility!" "So, what you're saying is the 20k run and the turkey eating frenzy were part of your evil plan to make it harder for us to stay awake?" Gwen groans, "That's right, Gwen!" "Man, he's good" i say, feeling sick as Trent walks over "So, how long do you think it'll be before everyone's out cold?" he asks Gwen, "Bout an hour, give or take" she groans in response, "i'll be right back" i say standing up and wobbling outside, before being sick i feel a hand touch mine and rub it gently. "I brought you a bottle of water because you weren't looking so great" Duncan chuckles as i lift my head and take a sip before instantly leaning back over the railing and spewing again, "Sorry" i sigh before wiping my mouth and getting up. "nah don't be, i think your friend gwen is next" he chuckles.
"We're now twelve hours in with all twenty-one campers still wide awake" i hear Chris say over the Loudspeaker as i groan, "ugh, im gonna die if i don't get a cigarette soon" i groan, "hey cmon, i have an idea" Duncan says as we walk over to the boys cabin and go in. Cody, Geoff and Bridgette were inside, "Oh, Hey Y/n!" Brudgette says to me, "hey!" i smile to her as Duncan gets down and reaches under the bed. "Anybody snitches and my switchblades going in your neck" he states before pulling out four cases of beer and a case of cigs. "Yo, Duncan dude pass me a beer!" Geoff smiles as Duncan opens the box and tosses him a few, "thanks man!" he says before opening one and handing Bridgette, Duncan quickly empties his Duffel bag onto his bed before shoving the open case and another case of beer into it aswell as the cigarettes and a lighter, "i have some weed too but i don't think that'll help us stay awake, so maybe another time" he whispers to me and my face lights up before he places the duffel bag over his shoulder, "Can we go find Gwen and trent?" i ask before he nods in response as we walk off to go find them
