Evelyn was simply minding her business in the living room. Her legs crossed as her dress rose slightly. On her lap was a sheet of musical notes to one of Brahms's favorite classical songs. She got bored of reading words and decided to test her knowledge by reading music notes. Her challenge of the day was disturbed when a knocking on the window caught her attention.

There a mid-30's man stood. Smiling almost creepily but massive towards her he waves his hand. Tall, all-American looking with sandy-blonde hair. He looks like some kind of a harder-lived version of Troy Aikman.

"Ah." Evelyn imminently drops her cold act as he grazes a timid polite smile on her lips, showing off her upper teeth. She knew who this one was. And just by his appearance, Evelyn can guarantee a memorial game night soon. She was standing up to reach the door of the manor, going to invite this 'guest' in. As Evelyn opens the door, she leans her hips against its frame as she openly scans the man before him.

Getting Evelyn in front of him too, he took his chances. Evelyn is definitely an eye-catching person, from her raven-black hair to her copper eyes. Her figure is like a sturdy airbag of today's sporty body. Noticing the pose Evelyn stood, the 'guest' was instantly gawking. If he didn't have a motive to be her already, he would be all up on Evelyn. "You must be Cole," Evelyn's smooth voice just brought more reason to fall for her, "Greta is out back. Why don't you join me for some tea?"

Not waiting or much care, Evelyn walked into the manor, begetting Cole to follow suit, his eyes going low at her figure as she led them to a comfortable spot in the living room. Unknown to him, someone else has his eyes on him. Ready to sludge something to him and watch him bleed.

When Greta entered the living room, she planned to get some lunch with Evelyn. Maybe a girl's day of gossip and boys' talk. It's what she needed after everything that had happened. However, it all came crashing down when she took in a new appearance.

Evelyn sat side by side with Brahms the Doll on the couch, serving more tea to herself while Cole sat on a wooden chair facing them, leaning forward towards her, showing how long and close he had gotten with Evelyn already. Cole made eye contact with Greta, and his first action was to give her an apologetic, almost shy smile. It seems fake to Evelyn, but Greta bought it. "I was going to send you a letter, but, you know me, I was never one for writing."

Greta took action first, her mother instinct took in as she rushed to Doll Brahms, cuddling it to her chest almost like protecting her child home a predator. Evelyn wasn't even phrase when Greta moved the doll and herself to a more distant couch from them. Cole glanced at his ex, almost wanting to scoff as Evelyn had warned him already of Greta's attachment to the doll, "This is a joke, right?"

The nanny doesn't look up, she reaches out and puts a comforting arm around Doll Brahms. Cole grimaces and rubs his face hard - partly puzzled, partly frustrated. A silence second filled the room, Evelyn had even gone back to her previous task as she understood the conversation had her no longer in it.

"The whole way out here I was thinking of what I was going to say. How I was going to convince you to forgive me and to come back to Denton. I had this speech worked out, but now...I mean, this, this is..." Cole looks at Doll Brahms, still not quite believing what he's seeing. He reaches into his bag, pulls out two plane tickets, and tosses them on the coffee table. "Our flight leaves tomorrow afternoon. You're coming home."

Leaving no room for disagreement. Greta glanced at Evelyn for some help. Clearly, Cole had a dominant effect on the nanny, she became a timid meal to play around with. Letting out a sigh, Evelyn spoke out, her tone soft like a siren, going to manipulate the situation, "What about dinner? I haven't cooked in weeks, I'll prepare them."

Cole's lip twitches, excitement even at the invitation. Greta let out a sigh, not the help she wanted, preferably kicking him out, but it did get her ex's attention away from her. Evelyn stands up, her finger brushing against Cole's shoulder subtly, "Stay for it, won't you."

And who could deny that?

Something in Cole's mind broke, he was cast into Evelyn's spell no one knew, but the man concealing in the wall, wanting so badly to just punch someone against something. And watch the skull break into pieces.
