(CHAPTER 4): alliance training day

Mike was suddenly rudely woken up the next day by a beam of morning sunlight shining onto his face, he slowly got up while rubbing his eye before moving over and fully closing the curtains, afterwards, he went off into the bathroom to brush his teeth and get dressed.

Meanwhile while Mike was brushing his teeth, Jenny was beginning to wake up aswell, although thankfully not because a beam of light was bugging her, and as she moved herself from the bed and rubbed her eyes to wake herself up, she walked over to the bathroom where Mike was, not knowing that anyone was inside, she opened the door and-

"AH!" Mike turned around in surprise but then calmed down after seeing Jennys face.

"Mike! are you okay?" Jenny said in a tiny bit of worry.

"Yeah, I'm okay now, you just scared me a bit.." Mike responded before noticing Jennys face as she began to frown slightly.

"..What's the matter? are you alright?" Mike asked.

"..Mike, I feel like something is wrong, ever since we got here, you haven't really been yourself..are you sure there's nothing bugging you?" Jenny said as Mike simply stood still for a few seconds before turning around to look at Jenny.

"Jenny, I am completely ok, you don't need to worry about me, it's just..well, I simply don't get the point of this island and what they've been doing on it" Mike explained, Jenny could immediately see he was about to go on a bit of a rant now.

"I mean, I get why they've been creating these creatures here so they can test their genetic technology and such, but..why would they create living objects of all things? it's just weird to me.." Mike said as Jenny looked at him.

Before Jenny could even try to respond, a voice from an intercom speaker suddenly broke through the conversation.

"Good morning, visitors, today will be the first day of the main VIP tour! during the tour, we will show you multiple exhibits that nobody else in the world has ever seen before, including an alliance training session with our main object trainer Peter, a jeep tour showing our main object exhibits, and a special nighttime viewing of our aquatic objects pool, so everyone, go get yourself dressed, get some food from the buffet, and prepare yourself for a once in a lifetime experience! the tour will begin at 9:00!" the speaker then turned off as soon as it finished talking.

Jenny looked at the clock in the room.

..It's 8:45.

"Well shoot, seems like we've got to go.." Jenny said as both of them walked out of their room and into the elevator where they pressed the button for the bottom floor.

Once both Jenny and Mike got out of the elevator, they saw that pretty much everyone else had came down before them, Mike noticed a few of them were eating fancy looking food on white plates, Mike assumed they had gone to the buffet earlier to get them.

As Jenny looked around the area, she started hearing some loud, 8-bit music nearby along with the sounds of animals hissing and chirping, although the noises sounded very crunched and pixelated, so when she moved over to where the sound was coming from, she saw Rachel from afar, the noises were coming from a random arcade machine he was playing, judging by the fancy text and artwork on the sides of the machine, the game was called "ISLAND HUNTER: GETAWAY MADNESS!", and it seemed like Rachel was focusing very hard on it.

"Come on..come on..you stupid bird..AHA! YES! TAKE THAT YOU PIECE OF SHI-" Rachels cry of victory was then interrupted by the intercom speaking.

"Attention visitors, it has now hit 9:00! it is time for the VIP tour to begin! please go outside of the hotel everyone and enter one of the jeeps, we will begin our tour with a live alliance training session! so come on out and let's go!" the intercom said cheerily.
