Richard "Dick" Grayson
The first time she met the first Robin was when she first appeared as Batgirl. Batman had finally decided to train her, so he had her in his car, and was driving somewhere.
She had kept asking questions upon questions, which he would either dodge the answers to or just refuse to answer outright. The windows were also tinted, with the only way Batman was driving being the camera feed he was looking at behind the steering wheel, which she couldn't see.
She did grumble about that being unfair, but let it go soon enough.
When they stopped, she was shaking in excitement. What and where was The Batman's lair? Was it cool? Was it scary? Was it just a house?
Once Batman unlocked the door, she hopped out immediately and looked around, noting the fact that Batman's lair was a cave. It was so obvious if she thought about it. Bats lived in caves! He had to stick with the theme!
When she turned around after an initial glance, she came face to face with a bright, beaming smile from the Boy Wonder. "Hiya, Batgirl! Can't wait to have you become part of the team." He says cheerfully, and she grins back at him.
"Me too! I can't wait to turn the Dynamic Duo into the Terrific Trio!" She exclaimed happily, and Robin cheered with her.
"I can't wait either. I'm Robin, obviously." He extends his hand.
She smiles back and extends her own hand, grasping it before giving it a firm shake. "And as you know already, I'm Batgirl."
Robin playfully rolls his eyes. "Well, duh. C'mon!" He grabbed her hand and led her to around the cave, giving her a tour as Batman watched.
Even Green Arrow could have seen the relationship that blossomed from the two coming before it happened.
Jason "Jay" Todd
The meeting with the second Robin was also while she was Batgirl. Except this time, it was after she gained years of experience.
Plus, Dick left without warning. He didn't even give her a goodbye. Dick had been gone maybe three months, now in Blüdhaven, he was too far for a casual visit like he was in Gotham.
It angered her, severely. She was becoming more and more like Bruce every single day.
So, imagine her surprise when Bruce told her to come to the manor and meet someone. Imagine how much more surprised she was when she saw a kid who looked like Dick. Black hair, blue eyes.
She was even angrier, especially as the kid looked at her with a spark in her eyes.
He held his hand out. "Jason Todd. I'm the new Robin." He gave her a grin, but it didn't look like Dick's, and it bothered her. Was Bruce trying to replace Dick? Really? Was replacing his son that easy for him?
Barbara scowled at the kid, which had him shifting backwards, dropping his hand.
"Whoa, lady. Stop lookin' at me like I robbed ya." The kid, Jason, holds his hands up.
Babs moves closer to him, leaning down to look him in the eye. "Listen here, unlike Bruce, I am not just going to let Dick be a memory. He was Robin, not you. I am not going to let you come in here and replace him like everyone else seems to be letting happen. You are not, and never will be, as good as Dick Grayson. This was his suit, and it always will be his. It will never be yours, because you are not Robin in any way, shape, or form. Understand?"
Jason had a look of what looked to be self-doubt cross his face before he steeled it, which was impressive for a... thirteen-year-old?
"I get it. I'm new, ya don't trust me. No hard feelin's." Then the kid walks away, and Barbara feels a bit of guilt before she squashes it down.
He was trying to replace Dick.
Timothy "Tim" Drake
When she meets the third Robin, she is no longer Batgirl, due to being paralyzed from the waist down thanks to Joker putting a bullet in her spine.
Jason... was dead. The Joker beat him with a crowbar, then blew him up in a warehouse. It had been nine months since the incident, and Bruce had gotten... violent. He was violent before, but he was going to new lengths now. He went... overboard.
One day, while working in the Clocktower, she heard footsteps behind her. She breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank god, you showed up, Bruce-" She spun around in her wheelchair, only to come face to face with Bruce, and another individual in the Robin colors.
"Jason hasn't even been dead a year." Barbara grit out. "Not even a goddamn year and you already have a replacement!?" Barbara exclaims angrily.
The kid raises a finger. "Actually, he didn't choose to have me here. I forced him to have me here."
Barbara turns to him and glares. "And how did you do that? He is a grown man."
The kid suddenly look sheepish. "I kinda... blackmailed him?"
Barbara goes to yell but takes a deep breath. She had messed up with Jason doing that, and now she would never be able to mend that. It was a regret she would hold her entire life. "What's your name?" She questions.
"Robin...?" The kid answers hesitantly.
Barbara glares. "Your real name."
The kid sighs. "Tim Drake." Barbara whirls to Bruce.
"This one isn't even an orphan! He has parents!"
Tim interrupts, "They barely pay attention to my existence, so do they count?"
Barbara gives him a look then turns to Bruce. "You better keep this one safer than you did Jason. We can't have a repeat. None of us would survive it." Bruce simply nods, and they continue.
Damian "Dami" Wayne
By the time Robin four comes around, she has already given the Batgirl mantle to two different people. Jason was back from the dead (she had mended that relationship, even if him and Bruce were still on rocky terms due to Jason having killed people) and occasionally helped the family when necessary.
Then... Bruce died. Saving the world, Bruce died. Tim thought he was alive but nobody else did. There was a 'battle for the cowl' on who would become Batman, and Dick got the mantle.
That was how she ended up in the Batcave, looking at her ex-boyfriend and the little demon next to him. "Babs, this is Damian Wayne, Bruce's biological child. Damian, this is Barbara Gordon, the first Batgirl, now Oracle."
Damian makes a 'tsk' sound. "The clown would not have gotten me so easily." Barbara glares and reaches for a staff but Dick moves in-between them.
"Don't do that."
"She could not, even if she tried."
"Dami, be kind."
"Come here, you brat-"
"No! Babs, you can't beat him!"
"She cannot even dream of doing so!"
"Damian!"
(A/N: Not my best, but I tried. Damian's is the shortest and most lackluster because, well, I don't really like him as a character. I really expected Jason's segment to be the longest, but surprisingly, it was Tim's. Guess I had more to talk about there. Anyways, I hope you like it. Feel free to make more requests.)
