Prismarine pulled his eyes open. Around him were halls upon halls of cells, holding malnourished dragons. Trotting through the halls, was a colorful dragon, about twice his size, glancing at the captives. Turning to him, she leaned her head in as far as she could go.

"Is this your brother?" The looming figure said, talking to a dragon he couldn't see.

"Yes." a quiet voice murmured, her face hidden in the shadows.

There was something familiar about that voice. It was hard to tell, but had the tone of someone he knew. From what Prismarine had heard, it sounded almost like one of his sisters.

~~~~~~~~~~
The obsidian SeaWing hybrid shot up. The walls had changed. The floor had changed. Everything was different. He was back in his cave, sitting on a woven fleece, being stared at by his sister, Bay, and his other sister, Marine, who was still snoozing. Baye was looking confused, tilting her head at her brother.
It was just a vision. The hybrid reassured himself.
"What happened? Nightmare?" She asked kindly. Prismarine nodded gratefully at her.
"Uh....I-I think it was a vision. A really, really realistic and scary vision." He sputtered out.
The dragon in my vision sounds-no, sounded- like Bay. Could it be her?
"Oh. Well, hopefully, it wasn't true. Most likely not, because your visions never come true." Bay teased. She tilted her head to the other side, slightly showing the large scar on her cheek.
On the first talon, even though Prismarine's visions did never come true, it still was annoying every time his sister would tease him for his "meaningless" visions. But, on the second talon, he was sort-of grateful that Bay reminded him about that.
"Ugh, I know that. Maybe one day, they might! Who knows." Prismarine bantered back, silently hoping it wouldn't.
Marine groaned, "Ugh, can you two lizards stop it? I'm trying to get my beauty sleep." she complained, turning over.
"Alright, we'll let you sleep, Marine. Hey, isn't today your first day of school? Shouldn't you be getting ready?" Bay reminded him, almost tauntingly.
Prismarine's eyes widened. He had forgotten the most important day of his life! Prismarine had been sucked up in his thoughts about his vision. He quickly scrambled around to find his scrolls, goggles, and satchel. Tearing through his shared cave, he finally found them. Relieved, he dashed out the cave exit to find his mother waiting for him.
"Are you ready? Do you have everything? Do you need anything?" Kelpie of the SeaWings pestered.
"No, Mother, I'm fine. You don't have to worry about me, I can do perfectly fine on my own." Prismarine sighed. Sometimes, the SeaWing hybrid wished she would stop worrying about him. He was five years old! Prismarine could take care of himself.
"Are you sure?" His mother had a worried expression on her face, "Not even some fish before you go?"
"Mother, you know I don't eat fish." Prismarine rolled his eyes. "Come on, we should go. I don't want to be late to Jade Mountain Academy."
Leaving the cave, morning light shone through the ocean ripples. Fish drove by, avoiding the dragons silhouettes as they swam through the sea.
Prismarine flew a bit farther before looking down. The pine trees beneath him swayed in the wind, swaying in harmony. Prismarine liked that. He hoped they would forever, but the jet-black hybrid knew that was impossible. The little ponds splattered around the swamps of the Mud Kingdom were spotted by little water lilies. Prismarine loved the way water lilies poked out of the water. One of his sisters picked on him about that, calling him "Glass dragon".
Glancing at a muddy plain, he thought about the SandWing Succession war, so long ago. His mother had told him stories, how awful it was, how gruesome and gory it was, but the "dragonets of destiny" were able to stop it and help Pyrrhia. Scenes flashed through his mind. He saw a graveyard of dragons lost in battle, and wondered if the dragonets of destiny knew anyone who was a warrior.
If anyone they knew or cared for died.
Lost in thought, he didn't notice the rocky terrain that was the Sky Kingdom. He would have almost knocked into the giant mountain infront of him, if it weren't for the sound of fire being blasted in the distance. He turned his head to see the SkyWings, clustering around the mountains. Prismarine noticed that a SkyWing had noticed him from a few feet away, and whispered to her friends.
The terrain around him was nothing like the area he grew up in. It was strange, unpredictable, and unstable. He almost got knocked out going through a tunnel, when a few rocks tumbled down from the hole in the ceiling. A dragonet poked his head in.
"Sorry!" Flashing a sheepish smile before disappearing, the dragonet giggled.
Leading himself down and out of the Sky Kingdom, he crossed over a scavenger den. He never ate humans, he saw them as the same as dragons, and always freed them when his family brought some home.
Isn't there a law about how dragons can't eat scaven-humans?
Quite a while later, after passing over plains and forests, Prismarine found himself just a few meters away from a jagged wall. Stopping himself, the obsidian dragon realized that this wasn't a wall; but a mountain. Looking around the side, he saw a rainbow of dragon colors, flocking through a large opening in the mountain.
It didn't take him long to figure it out that he had made it to Jade Mountain Academy.
For the second time.
