Prismarine crouched in his cell, looking for any familiar faces. Across from his cell, he saw a NightWing standing in front of it.

"Hello?" Prismarine called, and the NightWing turned around.

His gaze landed on the SandWing in the cell across from his cell. The SandWing was looking away from the cell, looking at the ceiling. "Saturn!" Pirsmarine called, hoping to get their attention.

"Who?" The SandWing called, blinking weary black eyes at him. "Oh, little SeaWing, you have the wrong dragon. I'm Dust of the SandWings."

"Oh...." Prismarine said. "Well—is Saturn here? He looks like a rusty-gold SandWing." Prismarine added helpfully.

Dust curled up, looking away from Prismarine. "I didn't see this Saturn. I must've been napping when he came in."

Prismarine's slight, hopeful look melted into a frown. "Oh," he sighed. "Right. By the way, Dust—where are we?"

"Honestly?" They said, "I don't know. No one knows. Venus won't tell us."

"Wait—Venus? Isn't that—"

"—the green dragon who showed up at your cell?" Dust interrupted.

I was going to say my friend, Venus, though....but I guess that works.

"Now can you talk to someone else? I'm tryin' to sleep."

Soon, soft snores emitted from their cell, and Prismarine sighed, looking down. He ran through his memory, trying to recall if he saw Saturn anywhere, or where he was. He slightly remembered being gagged, but he didn't see Saturn. He pinched his ear, trying to remember.

Nothing.

Talonsteps in the quiet hallway startled him, and he saw Venus walking up to his cell. "Hello, Prismarine." She said, pulling out a rusty skeleton key from a pouch slung under her wing. "Come with me; I have plans." Her dark brown eyes, once hopeful, revealed nothing. Prismarine tried using his mind reading, but he saw nothing. Venus was blocking it.

"Trying to read my mind?" She asked, tilting her head. "A little animus helped me; I believe her name was Blossom." Prismarine's eyes widened slightly, and Venus grinned. "Oh, so you know her."

Prismarine felt a pang of sadness as he was led away.

What had happened to his friend?

Prismarine entered a dark room with a skylight above him. He saw tubes everywhere, stone tablets and scrolls surrounding him. There was a large wooden platform in front of him. Deep claw marks were scorched in the wood, like someone had tried to claw it. There was a metal circle in the middle, just big enough to fit a dragon. There were dragon fire marks surrounding it, like a dragon had tried to burn the platform. A scroll was in front of it, with one name written on it: Prismarine.

Venus held up a small stone, and electricity gathered in the scorch marks. It drew closer to Prismarine, snaking towards him. They shot through his body.

"Try not to struggle," Venus said. "It won't hurt if you don't."

The platform started to heat up, possibly overheating, and it broke.

"By all the moons!" Venus gasped. "Had to break my test platform?" She snapped.

Prismarine fell on the floor, and his ears started to ring. He felt the ground rumble, and the roof started to fall down.

"Bay! Take care of my subject!"

The mountain rumbled even more, and the ground below Prismarine started to break, and he fell into a dark passageway. Something rough and hard splintered underneath him, and Prismarine heaved himself up. Prismarine saw bones underneath him, and he jumped away, shaking his talons.

Something was running down his back, dripping onto the floor.

Blood.

A small shaft of sunlight was shining on his goggles, and Prismarine crawled towards it. A shadow blocked the light, and Prismarine blinked. A heavy talon slammed down on his tail. Prismarine yelped, and he looked at the shadow. It had noticeable SeaWing features, and he blinked. He recognized that dragon!

It was his sister, Bay.
