I reached home at around seven, took a bath and immediately went to my phone to check on Noah's messages.

I forgot how our conversation started, but this was how the argument started.

"What is even love?" Noah asked.
"What do you mean 'what is even love'?"

I felt a sudden weight in my heart.
"Okay, I get it. I get it now."

He's tired of me, isn't it?

"So what do you wanna do?" I asked him back, "You have to do something, right?"

"Yeah, I guess," he replied.
"What do you mean?"
"What do you mean?" he questioned back.

"Tell me directly," I continued, "What happened? What happened to you? What happened to us? Has anyone told you something?"

"I just, I just want to get away from everything. Yeah, I wanna stop caring for people."

"Okay," I said, "Yeah, go on."
"Okay, thanks."

I didn't expect Noah to answer me with that.

"Did you wanna be like House or, I don't know. What happened? Who told you something?" I asked him again.

I put my phone on the table and lay down on the bed to calm myself down. I hope what I'm thinking now isn't happening.

I picked up the phone the check the messages.

"If you're saying so," Noah said, "That means you told someone something, and you're afraid."

But I didn't tell anyone, anything. I only told Amelia about us.

"You know," he continued, "When you first broke up with me, I learnt not to get attached to people. When I watched House, he confirmed my theories, and he taught me more about the truth of reality, the sad truth of reality."

"Alright, so what now?" I asked.
"Life goes on."

Didn't expect him to answer this easily.

"What about us? Life goes on but how about us? Without care, none of the relationships can go on!" I exclaimed.

I took a few deep breaths.

"Here, I'm trying to fix things, not to argue. Please don't leave me like this with no words. What's happening to us right now? What's the point of getting back to me? Are you playing or what? Noah, listen, you gotta answer all of my questions, I don't like overnight problems. Give me the reasons why you got back to me even though you made up your mind with stupid theories."

I can't hold my emotions anymore, I've been suppressing them, deeply suppressing them.

"I GET IT, YOU WANNA BE ALONE RIGHT? FINE, I'LL LEAVE YOU! Oh, I know, you're revenging me! That's why you treated me so well at first and now you're leaving. You've been talking weirdly for the past week, acting like you don't care anymore. You said you're tired so you didn't want to meet me, that's why. Probably I made a wrong decision again. I probably should've listened to Amelia in the beginning!"

He didn't reply to my message for hours, I think he's gone to tuition.

It was nine at night. I felt so physically and mentally tired, I slowly fell asleep on my bed.
