Reader's Perspective:
"Come on, it's class time! You need to get up!"
Tanaka rudely wakes Nishinoya from his sleep. The sleepy one's gaze first shifts to the slightly fogged window. Outside, it's cloudy and rainy. The Quidditch field is flooded. This weather isn't unusual for early October, but it's colder than usual. Nishinoya's eyes wander through the empty dormitory from the window.
"Are the others awake already?" mumbles Nishinoya sleepily.
"They're already having breakfast!"
Nishinoya quickly gets up, puts on his school uniform, grabs his books, and rushes down to the breakfast hall, where it's not very busy anymore as most have already headed to class. The only one who seems just as sleepy is Hinata. His hair is disheveled, and his eyes are blinking sleepily. The redhead is currently munching on some bites of his favorite food. At his sight, Nishinoya and Tanaka burst into laughter.
"What's up?" grumbles Hinata. "If it's about my hair, then-"
"Your shirt is on inside out!" Tanaka interrupts, laughing.
Hinata's face turns red, even redder than his hair. The rest of the Karasuno table also laughs. With the words 'See you later!', Hinata quickly leaves breakfast.
"He probably isn't fully awake either," Daichi says, having composed himself by now.
The whole morning seems to drag on FOREVER, mostly due to Herbology, which Hinata absolutely despises. Herbology is taught by Professor Hintaiyama, who isn't particularly sympathetic. Finally, lunchtime arrives, and Kageyama and Hinata sit down next to each other on a bench, clearly annoyed.
"What's bothering you today?" Tsukishima asks amusedly.
"Hintaiyama!" he explains with a gloomy look.
Daichi gives them a pitying glance before announcing, "Don't forget, there's training tonight!"
Tsukishima groans in annoyance. "In this weather? I thought I could relax for once!"
"Well, tough luck for you!" Kageyama retorts, almost gleefully. Everyone knows that Kageyama and Tsukki can't stand each other. Tsukki shoots him a withering look and then goes back to his meal. Just as Daichi is about to turn back to his food, he feels a tug on his sleeve. Sighing, he turns his head to the side.
"What is it, Hinata?"
The addressed scratches his head sheepishly. "I can't come today. Someone contacted me about tutoring, and before we start tomorrow, she wants us to have a trial session so she can prepare some tasks for me."
Missing training is extremely embarrassing for Hinata, as he hardly ever misses a session.
"Okay, but just for today. After all, we're playing against Fukuroudani in just under a month!"
A few minutes remain for the students to eat before they have to head back to class.
"Since when do you miss training?" Kageyama asks his best friend on the way to Charms class.
"I didn't really want to, but should I not grant her request? It's just ONE training."
After school, Hinata settles in the common room and takes out his homework, while the others retreat to the large bathing area each house has, to freshen up before training.

Karasuno's Common Room:

In the bathing area, there are a few steaming hot tubs, showers, and a slightly cooler swimming pool. Everyone in the house has access to this bath. Hinata watches his teammates longingly as they head off, chatting happily, to bathe. With a sigh, he starts writing his essay about moon constellations and their influence on Earth's events and magic (for Astronomy) using a large raven feather. He's agreed with his tutor to start on his homework so she can then explain the tasks he doesn't understand. He broods over his books for about fifteen minutes, occasionally hearing the scratching of his red-haired classmate's quill on paper, but he doesn't make much progress. He puts his head down in frustration on the parchment he needs to fill. Hinata lifts his head again when he hears the door to the bathing area and the room is briefly filled with a commotion of voices. However, as mentioned, it's only for a brief moment, as the Quidditch team members head to their dormitories to get ready for training, and a few minutes later, his teammates rush past him one by one. They greet him, some giving him sympathetic looks. After about five minutes, when the entire team has left the Karasuno area with small intervals, it's eerily quiet and almost empty in the common room. Apart from Hinata, a few younger students are still in the room. With a sigh, the redhead turns his attention back to his essay, but he can't seem to concentrate. He gets up and stretches. After sitting for so long, he needs to move around a bit. So, he paces back and forth in the room. As he passes the window overlooking the Quidditch field, he stops. He stares absentmindedly out the window. How much he would love to be training with his team right now. He doesn't even notice how long he's been looking out the window, but it must have been a while because the next time he turns around, the room is empty. Just as he's about to collapse back onto the sofa, he hears the door to the common room open. A girl with blond hair enters the room. Something that immediately catches Hinata's eye is her height. She's even smaller than Nishinoya, by a lot.
"Hinata?" she asks, turning to the redhead.
Her voice trembles slightly, and she continues somewhat uncertainly, "I'm Yachi Hitoka from class 5-5. Would you prefer to stay here or go to the library?"
Without addressing Yachi's question, Hinata now introduces himself as 'Shoyo Hinata from class 5-1 who would prefer to go to the library.'
"Alright then, pack your things and come with me!"

I know that Hinata would never actually skip training, but I thought that Sugamama would be pushing him to finally start tutoring because his grades might worsen further otherwise. Also, I thought that he would want to go to the library to avoid watching his friends train. (ノ・∀・)ノ
