Before we start with the next chapter: I had to change Hinata's age and the class to 5-1, otherwise Sugawara and the others (whom I put in Nishinoya's year) wouldn't still be in school when Hinata is at Hogwarts. But now, enjoy the chapter!

Hinata's POV:

I run faster. Behind me, I hear the calls of my comrades, or the boys whom I thought were my comrades. Suddenly, they turned against me because I was chosen to go to Hogwarts, and now they're trying to eliminate me. I turn around. Out of nowhere, a trench opens under my feet. My feet run into nothingness. I'm falling and falling...

Reader's POV:

Hinata startles awake. Panting, he looks around. He's sitting in his bed. Kageyama is peacefully sleeping in the bed next to him. The redhead realizes that he hasn't ended up in a dirty trench, but rather in his dormitory.

"It was just a bad dream," he murmurs to himself, trying to fall back asleep, but it just won't happen, no matter how hard he tries.

After lying awake for another half-hour, he pushes the curtains aside and gazes out of the window. It's still pitch dark, with only a faint dark-gray-blue strip on the horizon. He gets out of bed, noticing how extremely cold it is. Careful not to make any noise, he rummages in his wardrobe, grabs his school uniform, dons his bathrobe, and heads to the bathing area. After the bath, Hinata puts on his school uniform and settles into the common room. At first, he's unsure how to spend the remaining time, but then he suddenly remembers that he needs to study for a test today. Today is Thursday. He did practice a bit with Yachi yesterday, but she told him to review everything calmly. With a sigh, he sneaks back into the dormitory to retrieve his textbooks.

"At least I won't have to climb back up later," he thinks.

He studies for a while, but the redhead just can't seem to concentrate properly. As he briefly closes his eyes and leans back, he realizes how tired studying has made him, and soon enough, he drifts into a deep, dreamless sleep.

"Hey, shorty! You still alive?"

For the second time today, Hinata is jolted awake by Kageyama's voice. For a brief moment, he doesn't know where he is, but then everything comes rushing back. He looks out of the window. Temperatures have returned to normal October levels over the past few days. Blinking sleepily, the redhead takes a moment for his eyes to adjust to the bright light flooding the common room. Apparently, a few hours have passed. As Hinata gazes out of the window, he notices that the sun is shining. Glancing at the clock, he realizes it's just in time for breakfast. Apparently, Hinata had been staring blankly into space for a while without realizing it, as Kageyama suddenly asks:

"Everything okay? You look kinda spooky!"

"Uh, yeah. Why don't you go ahead for breakfast? I'll get ready quickly."

With a shrug, Kageyama leaves the common room, while Hinata heads back to the bathing area to comb his hair. Ten minutes later, when he appears in the Great Hall, everyone else is already eating. The redhead sits down and takes a sip of cocoa, but he doesn't really feel hungry. Suddenly, it occurs to him that he has a History of Magic test today.

"Hey, Kageyama, did you study?" he asks between sips of cocoa.

Kageyama slaps his hand against his forehead.

"Darn! I totally forgot we have the History of Magic test today!"

"But you guys have old Naita for History," Asahi chimes in. "She's absent today!"

"Ohh yeah!" Hinata and Kageyama exclaim simultaneously, realizing they have a double free period. Until Hinata and Kageyama have classes again, they laze around a bit. Just as they're about to head out again, they bump into Kiyoko Shimizu, the leader of Karasuno's cheerleader club.

"Hi, you two. Do you know anyone who isn't in a club yet? Karasuno's fan club is currently without a leader, and if we don't find one soon, Karasuno will be without a fan club this year!"

The two boys listen to Shimizu with alarm, but then they have to make their way to class. During lunchtime, when everyone is seated together, Kuroo from Nekoma suddenly appears before them.

"Could I borrow your captain for a moment?" he inquires.

Daichi gets up. Even though the others look quite bewildered, he seems to know exactly what it's about. The two captains move a bit away from the house tables, and although the others can't catch every word, they hear phrases like 'Sunday,' 'Professor Nekomata,' and 'would be good preparation.' As Daichi returns to the Karasuno table, he's beaming from ear to ear. The rest of the team is puzzled, but they don't say anything.

Late in the afternoon, there's another practice session. This time, Hinata can participate.

"Okay, everyone! To warm up, let's toss a few balls around. After that, we'll train the positions individually and finish with a little match."

"Yes!" the team responds in unison to their captain.

As instructed, they start by throwing the balls in a circle. Hinata, pondering over what Kuroo and Daichi discussed, isn't completely focused at first. A few times, he blushingly drops the balls, but by the end, he's fully concentrated, catching almost every ball. Nishinoya remains undefeated in ball-catching. The 5'3" (159 cm) player drops only a single ball. After tossing the balls back and forth for about fifteen minutes, Daichi waves his wand, and suddenly, there are five versions of him. The four duplicates oversee the individual player groups that have gathered based on their positions to train separately. The original trains with the hitters. To wrap up, Daichi duplicates each player, creating two teams for a match. The game ends 200 : 40 in favor of the real players. The fakes are only ten points behind, but the original players extend their lead by another 150 points by catching the Snitch. After everyone touches down, a final team meeting takes place.

"You all did really well today!" Daichi begins. "As you've heard, I talked to Nekoma's captain, Kuroo, today. And as you know, the five best players will be sent to England this year."

"Now spill the beans already! My feet are about to freeze off!" Tanaka complains.

"Alright," Daichi continues. "I've talked to both Takeda and Nekomata. We have a surprise for you that you'll surely like. The surprise is..."

Sorry for the cliffhanger, but I want to see who manages to guess the surprise. Hopefully, it's not too obvious. :)
