The power went off, making the people around boo. You turned to your sides only to find the couch empty.

You looked around and frowned at Shua's voice, some shadow figures walked closer to you with a cake in their hand. You figured their faces out at the dim light from the candle. It was Joshua, Minghao, Mingyu, Vernon, and Chan. Soon the lights turned on and you saw the rest behind them. They smiled at you but you just stood there expressionless. You hate your birthday and they should know that better than anyone else.

"Happy Birthday!" Jackson hugged you sneakily whose presence went unnoticed by you till then. He made you bury your face in his chest before whispering,

You got out of his grip and stepped back but bumped into Seungcheol who heard your conversation with Jackson. He embraced your petite body closer to him.
