Chapter Nineteen

Women and their pregnancy shit. I used to say that when I watch or read stuff about pregnancy. I always see them in malls and in parks. They were everywhere! Ugh.

It had been two months since I was pregnant. And if you're wondering if Storm and Rain got married already, then it's a no. They moved their marriage next year because this year was a busy one. Storm's company had a big problem so they had to move it. I was happy because I think faith is rooting for me and Storm.

"Hey, you okay?" Tanong ni Blair. Blair and Matthew was in my condo today. They were friends already but Matthew didn't seem fond of Blair. Same goes for Blair. Matthew says that Blair is too girly and loud while Blair says that Matthew is too masungit.

"Yeah, just hungry." I said. Kumunot ang noo niya.

"But you just ate?" she said and then sat down with a bowl of chips.

"Matakaw ang mga buntis. Hindi mo ba alam yun?" Matthew said and rolled his eyes at Blair.

"Ah, ganun ba? Sorry ha? Hindi ko alam yung kasi hindi naman ako buntis." Blait answered and inirapan niya si Matthew.

"Kayo talaga. Kailan ba kayo magkakasundo? It's been one month already na ah?" I joked and grabbed a fistful of chips from the bowl then I ate it.

"Like never." Blair said.

"Like never. Arte mo." Matthew copied Blair and then he looked at Blair like she had poop all over her. Blair just stuck out her tounge at Matthew.

"It's been two months, Sunny. When are you planning to tell him?" Matthew asked.

He was always like that. Lagi na niyang tinatanong kung kailan ko sasabihin kay Storm. Then I would always answer that I will tell him once I am ready and we would just end up fighting.

"Soon." I answered.

"Soon? You've been saying that for like two months now. Mamaya, malaki na yang tyan mo tas di mo pa sasabihin kay Storm? Aba. Unfair naman ata yan kay Storm?" Blair said.

"Oh so ngayon pagtutulungan ninyo ako? Pwede ba. When I say soon, I mean it. Tsaka di pa ako handa. Hindi pa ako handa na mreject kami ni baby once na malaman niya." I told them.

"How are you so sure na irereject ka niya? We guys are very sensitive when it comes to these kind of situations. Mas mabuti kung nasabi mo ng mas maaga para madigest na niya yung news. Kaysa sa pinatagal mo pa? That's even worse." He said.

"Yeah. I agree on you with that one, Matthew. He might get mad at you once he knows that you're pregnant with his child tapos hindi mo sinabi sa kanya agad. Kung ako sa'yo, sasabihin ko na agad. Wag mo sabihin na hinihintay mo pa ang kasal nila bago mo sabihin?" It was Blair's turn to talk.

I sighed. They were right. Dapat sinabi ko na kay Storm ng una pa lang at dapat hindi ko na pinatagal ng dalawang buwan. Storm has every right to know because he is the father pero natatakot ako.

"Natatakot ako, guys." I said.

"Walang mangyayari kung patuloy ka matatakot." sabi ni Matthew.

"Your baby is healthy naman. Ipagpatuloy mo lang ang paginom ng vitamins mo at ang gatas na prinescribe ko sa'yo, okay?" sabi ni Dra. Quintos.

"Yes, Doctora. Thank you po." I answered.

We three stood up. Yes, three. Kasama ko kasi ngayon si Blair at si Matthew. They decided to come kasi wala naman daw silang gagawin.

"Pwede bang wag ka manulak?" Blair said frustratingly.

"I'm not pushing you." sabi ni Matthew. Uh oh. I guess their fighting again. Kanina, nagaway din sila sa kotse because Matthew continued driving kahit nakared light. Blair kept on shouting and she lectured Matthew about road signs and shit. It was annoying but it was amusing at the same time because whenever Matthew uses his smart mouth, Blair has these witty remarks she would use back.

Tumabi na silang dalawa sa akin. We were both walking sa hallway ng makasalubong namin si Storm with Rain. I stopped on my tracks kaya natigil din yung dalawang kanina lang ay nagaaway.

"Oh my gosh." Blair whisphered.

My baby bump was not visible because I was wearing a loose blouse kaya hindi ito bakat sa suot ko. I held Blair's hand then I looked at Matthew.

"Hey, Storm." Matthew called out.

Tumingin silang dalawa samin and Storm was a bit shocked to see me. Maybe because matagal na din kaming hindi nagkikita because he was busy.

"Oh, hey." sabi nito sakin at lumapit sakin. Rain was just looking at me with no emotions. It made me snicker. Yep. She hates me.

"Hi." I squeaked.

"What are you guys doing here?" He asked with a creased forehead while he eyed the three of eyes.

"Ah. We had a check up sa ob kasi buntis siㅡ"

"Blair. Buntis si Blair at si Matthew ang ama. Sinamahan ko lang silang dalawa because I didn't have anything to do naman." I said and I secretly pinched Matthew.

"What? Hindi akoㅡ"

"Buntis ka diba?" Pinanlakihan ko ng mata si Blair and I gritted my teeth. "Diba?"

"H-ha? Ahh. Oo. Buntis nga ako." She said then looked at Storm with an awkward smile.

"Really? Wow! Congratulations, Blair, pare." He said then he looked at Matthew who looked pissed.

"Honey, let's go na. I'm hungry." Rain whined like a baby. Ugh. Disgusting.

"Oh. Okay. Bye, guys. Congratulations on your baby. Bye, Sunny." He said before leaving.

"What the fuck?!"

"I'm not preggy! Ew!"

They both shouted at me when the two left. I looked at them and gave them glares. Especially Matthew. "Bakit mo naman kasi sasabihin na buntis ako?! Kapag sinabi mo na buntis ako, magtatanong yun!" I said.

"He needs to know." He said throught gritted teeth. My jaw clenched.

"Ako ang may karapatan na magsabi sa kanya. Wag mo ako pangunahan. Wag niyo ako pangunahan." I eyed them both before leaving them there.
