Chapter Twenty

I was at home today kasi I missed Mommy and Daddy. It was a Tuesday and they don't have much works on Tuesday.

"Kamusta naman ang apo ko? Is it a girl or boy?" Mommy eagerly asked. I smiled.

"Hindi ko po alam, Ma. I'm planning to know next visit ko kay Dra. Quintos." sabi ko.

"Talaga? Pwedeng sumama ako? Text me kung kailan ka pupunta, okay?" She said and I nodded.

"You're still not telling him?" Tanong ni Daddy na kanina pa tahimik. I looked at him and sighed.

"Dad."

"It's been two months already, anak. Halata na din ang umbok sa tyan mo. Weeks later, three months na yan. When are you planning to tell him?" He asked. Dad sounded worried.

"Dad, I will when I'm ready." I answered. Iyan lagi ang sinasagot ko and he looked fed up with my answer.

"Okay. Perp siguraduhin mo na malalaman ni Storm yan." sabi niya. I nodded at Dad and proceeded with talking to Mommy.

Mommy said that Rain and Storm's wedding isn't planned yet. Basta ang alam lang daw nila ay next year pa ang kasal.

"Tita France always comes here. Lagi ka niyang hinahanap." sabi ni Mommy. We were in the kitchen and she was cooking sinigang na baboy. My favorite Filipino food. Babaunin ko daw ito pauwi so I could eat something at the condo.

"Ahhh." sabi ko na lang.

I was thinking of how I would tell Storm that I'm pregnant with his child. Sa restuarant kaya? Eh. I don't want to break down infront of many people. Kung pwede lang sana na gawin through phone or Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Like posting a photo of my small baby bump with the caption 'Congrats! You're going to be a father!'. Then I'll be tagging him in the photo. I shook my head. That's lame. Baka hindi niya ako kausapin. I decided with just telling him in his condo. Yeah, I will.

I finished my work already. Finally. Lumabas na ako ng opisina at nagpaalam kay Heather. Lumabas na ako ng shop at pinuntahan ang kotse ko na nakapark sa tapat. I rode it then I drove off.

Maaga pa naman kaya pupunta ako ngayon sa condo ni Storm. Malapit lang naman ito sa shop so nakarating naman ako agad. I parked the car and went straight to the lift. I pressed his floor and I waited for the elevator doors to open. When it opened, I went out and went straight to his condo. I was nervous. I felt like peeing and my palms were sweaty. And me being the super nervous type, I knocked on the door frantically and it opened agad.

"Sunny? What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Uhhh..." I mumbled. I pushed him inside and I went straight to check his room then his bathroom. No sign of Rain. "Where is she?" I asked.

"Rain? She's at her parents. She's be back next week. Why?" He asked. He looked confused. Well, I would be confused to if my bestfriend looked for my fiancé when I know that they aren't in good terms.

I sat down on the sofa. "Sit." I said. He hesitated at first pero sumunod naman siya. He sat on the couch infront of me.

"I need to tell you something." I said. He nodded.

"Okay? What is it?" He asked. His forehead was creased. I was squirming and fidgeting on my seat. "Can't you stay still?" He asked.

"Huh? What? God, why am I sweating? Is your ac on?" I asked and he nodded. Oh god, why does it feel hot.

"What is it that you're going to tell me?" He asked.

Okay, this is it. I breathe in and out and I calmed myself. When I wasn't shaking anymore, I decided to tell him. "Storm, I'mㅡ"
