Chapter 28

Minji's POV

After walking around for some time to cool my head off and ready to face Hanni, I walked back to the beach house with a heavy heart. I saw the Jay and Jungwon were swimming together as they played in the pool. I looked around but I didn't find Irene so I continued walking towards the living room. I saw Hanni was watching movie with Haerin so I walked closer towards them.

"Hanni, can I talk to you?" I asked her slowly. She shook her head without looking at me, "I don't want to talk to you."

"Please." I pleaded but she shook her head instead.

"No."

"Hanni, please." I begged her but she didn't say anything so I continued calling her,

"Han..."

Hanni crossed her arms on her chest then glared at me, I could see her eyes were red because of the crying earlier.

"I said I don't want to talk to you!" stated Hanni angrily then she looked back at towards the TV.

I sighed then started talking again, "I'm sorry...I-"

"Hey...she said she doesn't want to." Haerin cut me off while glancing at me.

I ignored her statement then walked closer towards Hanni and grabbed her wrist. I held it tightly then pulled her up from the sofa,

"We need to talk."

Hanni tried to get away from my grip but my grip around her wrist tightened.

"Minji...you are hurting me!" she cried and Herin got up from the sofa and pushed me away from Hanni then she stood in front of her.

"What's your problem?!" she glared at me angrily while holding Hanni in her arms, "She said she doesn't want to talk to you! Are you deaf?!"

I looked away then apologized when I saw Hanni put her face on her chest because she was hurt, "Sorry."

"Stay away from her! You hear me!" She glared at me and I saw that Hanni put her hand on her chest before talking.

"Haerin-"

Haerin cut Hanni off before she could finish her sentence, "What? She is hurting you!"

"Hey...what's going on here?" Yunjin popped out from behind.

"I'm sorry." I apologized then turned around before walking towards my room. I felt tears started forming on my eyes because I was mad at myself for hurting the person that I love. I hurt her twice today.

What was I thinking? I closed the door after I got inside my room and started packing my things. I zipped my bag and quietly walked towards the living room while holding my bag.

"Where are you going?" Yunjin asked me because she was the first one who saw me walking down the stairs. I glanced at Haerin and she was staring at me quietly. I could feel that Hanni was also staring at me but I didn't look at her. It was purely because I couldn't bring myself to face Hanni after what I did to her.

"I'm sorry. I have urgent call from the hospital. I have to go back now." I lied then smiled faintly, "Have fun."

I walked away before anyone could speak and I could see from the corner of my eyes that Hanni got up from the sofa and she followed me outside. She quickly stopped me by holding my wrist before I could get inside my car but I started talking first before she could say anything.
