Theo's eyes began to open, squinting in an attempt to make out his surroundings. His entire body ached, he was lay on the floor with his head propped against the wall behind him, the position causing his neck to feel stiff.

His memory was fuzzy as to how he ended up here. Theo began to lift himself up slowly, his vision was still a little blurry but he could now see that he was in some kind of large room, a warehouse perhaps?

How the fuck did he end up here? The last thing he remembered was sleeping in his truck and a deputy woke him, like most nights.

Theo needed to get up and find out where he was, as he pushed his palms down onto the floor to help himself up he notice the shackles on his ankles, "What the fuck?" he muttered to himself. He brought brought his hands towards the metal wrapped around his ankles, pulling lightly to try and get a sense of how strong they were.

While he tried to pull them slightly harder his arms began to ache even more. This was definitely some kind of hunters doing, they must've used wolfsbane or some other kind of poison to weaken him.

Theo looked around the warehouse trying to find some way out and something to help him out, as his eyes scanned the room he spotted a long chain that was attached the wall opposite him. His eyes followed the chain until he found where the chain ended.

Another person was shackled, over a pair of long brown lace-up boots. Someone else had been caught by hunters too, whoever it was began to shift slightly.

Theo was about the open his mouth to talk but he got cut off by the other person, "Theo?? Are you awake??" the voice spoke in an almost relieved tone, lifting themself up off the ground and looking at Theo.

"Hayden??!" He replied confused, lifting himself off the floor and attempting to walk to where she was, his legs felt like they were going to give way while he walked but he made it to the wall the hayden was by, as he slumped down he felt the shackles pull against his ankles more. Luckily the chain connected to them was long enough that he was able to get to Hayden.

He hadn't seen her since the Ghost Riders, what was she doing back in town, did the hunters lure her here to capture her?

"How did you even know it was me over there?" Theo decided to ask, she turned to look at him, blood was smeared on her forehead where she seemed to have been hit over the head with something.

"When they dragged me in here you were unconscious, at first I thought you had something to do with this, but then I saw how shitty you looked." Hayden's response confused Theo further.

"Why would I have something to do with this? I wouldn't work with hunters if my life depended on it." He asked looking at her, confusion was written all over his face.

"Theo- The hunters didn't do this, I thought you must've seen them, it looked like you'd tried to fight them off or something but obviously it's not use, against them it's never no use," she said with a sadden laugh.

What is she even talking about at this point? If the hunters didn't do this then who the fuck did. Looking down at his hands he saw the missing claws and that's when his memories rushed back to him. The dread doctors.

"Shit. Shit," Theo began panicking when he remembered what the doctors had said, "Did you speak to Liam? Before they got you I mean??"

Hayden could see the fear in his eyes and that made her even more scared than she already was. If Theo was panicking then she definitely was.

She shook her head, "No? Why..?" her voice trembling a little.

"They're gonna kill him. I thought that at first anyway, but now I don't think it's them who is going to kill him," Theo spoke his heart beating faster than usual, the wolfsbane was really getting to him aswell, "I remember them saying something about Josh and Tracy, bringing them back, and now you're here too. I think they want to rebuild the pack, or whatever it even was, again, and they want us to kill him, to kill Liam."

Theo's mind was connecting the pieces together while he spoke. Not only did the doctors want to Liam dead, but if Hayden was now here, then what are the chances of Corey being dragged here as well.

Hayden could see the terror in his eyes over the thought of hurting Liam, he actually cared about him which made her heart feel almost happy, if it wasn't for the current circumstances then she would be so happy knowing that Theo truly cared for Liam and that he would protect him.

"Fuck, what are we gonna do?" She asked not actually expecting a response because even if they could get out the dread doctors would still find them.

Theo sighed, "I don't know, I really have no idea." His voice was croaking from not being able to hydrate for so long.

"They are gonna bring Corey here too aren't they?" Hayden asked, her tone almost soft.

Theo gnawed his bottom lip at the thought, this was his fault. Everything that had happened and will happened was his fault, if he didn't exist the people he cared for would never have experienced half of the pain they have. Liam wouldn't have the trauma of killing his own alpha, Hayden and Corey wouldn't have died then been resurrected by him just to become puppets to his game, Tracy, Josh, Tara and everyone else he'd killed would be alive and whatever is about to happen as of now wouldn't be happening. This was his fault, he'd failed everyone who he's been trying to get to trust him after all he did.

Liam is going to hate him, his first love is now trapped by the dread doctors again because of him. Mason will hate him more than he already does, his boyfriend is also going to most likely get caught up in this, all because of him.

Fuck. Theo wishes more than anything that he didn't exist.

"Yeah, they're probably going to bring Corey here as well." Theo finally replied to Hayden's question.

Even though a lot of things had been Theo's doing in the past, Hayden knew whatever was happening right now wasn't his fault, if it was the air around him wouldn't reek of guilt and fear.
