Liam woke to Theo's head tucked into the space between his shoulder and neck, Liam wasn't really sure how or when he and Theo had fallen asleep but as he looked around the Mccall's living room, everyone else was sleeping in various comfortable and uncomfortable positions. He nuzzled himself back into his previous place, with his face buried in Theo's hair, he felt himself begin to relax as he slowly drifted back to sleep.

As silence consumed the living room, the pack were all still asleep until this loud sound filled the outside air and spread through the house causing even those who weren't supernatural to jolt awake.

"What the fuck?" Hayden spoke as she lifted herself off the chair she had been sleeping on, before looking to where Liam and Theo now sat with concerned looks on their faces. Mason made his way towards the window to look outside before being stopped by his best friend, "Mase, careful let me look." Liam said before lightly pushing Mason aside and peeking through the curtains.

Mason was tempted to tell Liam that he was fully capable of looking out the window for any signs of what had woke them all, but he didn't. He didn't because his brain clicked as to why Liam was being overly protective. Liam was scared that Mason would end up hurt, like when Gabe shot up the exact room the pack stood in right now.

Theo looked towards Mason already having figured out the beta's sudden panic the second he saw Mason move towards the window. Theo had seen how Liam was when his best friend ended up in hospital from what Gabe had done, the way he probably would've killed the hunter, not that he'd blame him of course.

Outside there was no sign of anyone or anything, but Liam just knew something wasn't right. That sound that woke them all, it was something bad, it had to be.

Everyone else must've also thought the same as Liam, because all he could smell was panic and anxiety.

It was now 6am anyway, so the pack decided to get dressed and try and figure out what was going on, they wanted to protect Beacon Hills.

They went off in groups; Liam, Hayden and Mason headed to the high school, Theo, Corey, Nolan and Alec headed to the hospital and then they were all going to meet at the Animal Clinic after.

Once arriving at school, everything seemed ordinary, almost too ordinary. It felt strange, even Mason thought it felt strange, the three ended up looking around the entire school. They currently stood in the locker rooms, and were about to leave.

As Hayden made her way towards the exit she bumped into a girl, one she was friends with before she left town. "Lori, oh my god you scared me," she said laughing softly.

Liam and Mason heard Hayden speaking, both of them looking at each other wide eyed. Shit. After Hayden had left Liam had not really been in contact with her, she wasn't fully aware of everything that happened, including Lori and Brett being dead.

Both boys immediately ran out of the locker room and towards Hayden, and right in front of her stood Lori, confusion filling her eyes as she stared at Hayden. That confusion quickly faded away as she made eye contact with Liam, "You." She breathed, anger filling her voice.

Lori made her way towards Liam, who slowly backed himself further up the corridor. Hayden had no understanding as to what was going on but she did not hesitate to defend Liam, once she saw Lori's claws flick out, she swiftly but carefully got closer to Lori and pulled her back, both of them falling to the floor, Hayden was above Lori holding her arms down as the other fought to escape.

"Explanation, now." Hayden said, looking at Liam and Mason as she still held the other down.

"The hunters, they killed her and Brett last month. I don't know what's happening or how she's here but I swear I didn't do anything!!" Liam replied to her, panicked.

Even though she was fighting Hayden's grip, Lori still listened to Liam's words. "I don't understand." She spoke, on the verge of sobbing. Mason and Liam knelt down next to the two girls, "What don't you understand Lori?" Mason asked, his voice soft and understanding.

"T-They told us it was you," she whispered, looking at Liam, "They said you killed us, and if we killed you then we could stay alive."

Liam felt as if he was going to start crying, he had known Lori, Brett and Mason longer than anyone else, and seeing her so confused and broken, hurt to see.

"Who told you this Lor?" Hayden asked, loosening her grip on her.

"The doctors, they told all of us what to do and who killed us. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I just don't want to die again." She sobbed, Hayden released the grip and held the other tightly, giving her a hug and she cried. "It's okay," Hayden whispered into Lori's hair as they hugged.

Mason pulled Liam away from the girls slightly, "Li," he whispered looking at his best friend, causing Liam to look back at him, "Lori said, the dread doctors told all of them what to do, as in more than just Lori, probably Brett and maybe more?"

Liam knew Lori was confused right now, but he needed to know who else was here. He walked back to where Hayden and Lori sat, "Lori?" He said, causing her to look up at him, "Who else did the doctors bring back..?" Liam asked warily.

"Brett and then two others, I can't remember their names, I don't think they even remember their names, but they're chimeras." She replied.

"Theo." Is all Liam said before rushing towards the exit, he needed to find Theo before they did.

Theo and Corey searched one side of the hospital, while Alec and Nolan searched the other. Each room they'd looked in so far showed no sign of anything strange.

The two chimeras were now in the morgue, when the door shut behind them, that's when the atmosphere completely changed. Theo pulled Corey behind him in an instant, the door now had one of the metal tables in front of it, preventing a quick escape for them.

"We found you." A very familiar voice spoke from across the room, Theo tried to focus his eyes on where it came from, he could make out two human shaped shadows.

The figures moved towards the two boys, Theo backed up further, realising Corey was no longer behind him. He began to panic, straining his ears to listen for Corey's heartbeat, just as Theo found it, the light flicked on, and moments later Corey was back by Theo's side.

If they were going to fight something, Corey would much rather be able to see properly.

In front of them stood two people who Theo and Corey knew very well. "Josh?" Corey questioned at the same time Theo spoke, "Tracy?"

This was supposed to be easy, Tracy and Josh would kill Theo and Corey, then find Hayden to kill her too and then they would be okay, they'd be free. It however was not easy at all, just hearing their names made the two of them confused.

Hearing their names felt like a ton of bricks hitting them, memories flooding back to their brains causing them to panic. Tracy tried to focus, so she decided to focus her eyes on one of the boys in front of her, as she stared at Theo, she immediately regretted not looking at Corey instead.

Her heart began to pound in her chest, her eyes welled with tears as she couldn't bring herself to look away from him. Whatever was happening to her felt familiar, it was like her chest was being crushed.

All three boys looked concerned, and she hated it. She could remember small things now, her and Josh were friends, and Corey was also her friend.

Theo wasn't her friend, Theo utterly terrified her in every sense of the word. Tracy would always pretend like she didn't care but she did, she remembers Theo killing Josh, she remembered her own words.

"I think he was small and inexperienced."

That's what she said when Theo killed Josh, when Theo killed one of the only real people she ever had.

Then Theo killed her, she can remember that too. These memories began to overwhelm her brain, her hands reached up to cover her ears as if that would help. She wanted to scream, she didn't want to remember, right now all she wanted was to be dead again.
